I dont know how you feel, but can it really take so long to fix the damn highways / N12 specifically. The buggers close off lanes for days on end but nothing is done in those lanes. when you do see the guys there 1 works and 5 watch him. The dude waving the red flag irritates me. No temporary lines showing lanes, besides irritating it's downright dangerous.
my LBS helps me out without charge, also regreased / service my bikes, no charge, but I always leave about R100... odd to the guys to buy themselves lunch / coolies etc. Just brilliant customer service, I dont expect freebies, but also cant accept it for free.
I know it's not that serious but on Saturday at groenies, they stole my nephews gloves off the top of the car as we were packing up. some guys were looking at the bike next to the tree while we were loading the other bike, next thing gloves taken off roof. pathetic to steal that.
