  1. <?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> Hopefully when they talk about Ranking for Licensed riders they will start looking at finish position in your cat and stop looking at Time compared to the Elites. This way guy's will stop getting good seedlings for fast races and get a ranking based on he's ability in he's category.

  9. I have a bit of a problem.I am a roadie that sometimes commute during the week with my Mtb?So what to do...should I just take the safe option and not greet anybody??
  10. Just what I meant by you have to earn your respect You are a wanker because you are generalising and you are just looking for attention. You know what the clubs policy is' date=' you say as much, but the club can't enforce policies on individuals any more than your ranting on here will. I won't ride with certain individuals in my club because of exactly this sort of behavior but I don't take the piss out of every other individual that is a club member because of it. And I really don't need your respect. [/quote'] In this case, who will they enforce it upon??This was not a organized club ride...no Marshals were present. So just a couple of guy's riding in cyclelab kit???How can a club be held responsible for what people do while riding in there kit?? Dear Windbreaker, Afetr digesting your post, I am compelled to comment. The portion in red is really interesting. A club has a constitution, elected officials, rules and regulations. Let me see if I understand your post - the club cannot enforce policies on indivisuals? Drivel. Let said individual/s not pay their subs (one of the policies I am sure) and see what happens. Club officials do not enforce CERTAIN policies would be a more accurate statement. Any club can enforce their policies if the have the requisite cajones. Sorry Mate, don't buy your statement. I am not seeking attention. Don't even think of calling me wanker. In this case, who will they enforce it upon??This was not a organized club ride...no Marshals were present. So just a couple of guy's riding in cyclelab kit....maybe we can organize a lineup and Mr "Who ever started" this tread can identify the culprits!!!
  11. Great looking bike with some kick ass wheels!!!
  12. anybody posted anything on the 2 Mtb'ers that got bikejacket on the gravel section close to the Wimpy on the R21?
  13. Contador is by far still the best rider in the tour but I have to say,man did I enjoy that!!!! Amazing to see the old man go like that!!!! O and by the way in 2 months he will be 38!!!!!
  14. I would like to see them test this on one of the mountain stages, stage 17 would be perfect...not a mountain top finish.Anything can happen on a stage like this... But the team cars would have to rely a lot on feedback from the race ref to let them know about a crash and the riders involved.http://cdn.media.cyclingnews.com/2009/07/14/2/gr177476copy_600.jpg
  15. Happy Birthday Rabubi!!!!!!! Mag jy n lekker dag en n great jaar he.........geld spaar vir daai ring ou nie carbon koop nie ne!!
  16. Hulle het op supercycling gese dit was n nuwe reel vir die Giro om dit te toets. Het nie veel van die stages gesien nie so kan nie se of hulle wel gehad nie??
  17. I like the way things are done at the Pannorama, minus the Pro's. Was amazing to see al of the top amateurs racing each other regardless of there age. So give the pro's there own cat and then start with a Amateur A(top 200) and then the normal seeded/open batches.
  18. Yeah back to the topic Colonal!! Cycling...that is not those amazing motocross guy's...I know they are soooo strong and and so... Like I said back to cycling...in cycling terms....Ya that bunch of sissies that can't do what a motocross rider can do,you have to have a perfect run in to a tour like this to be able to try and compete at the top level....even a mild cold will be the differance between winning and being dropped in the big mountains. But then again you won't get that being as tough as you are won't you??
  19. Looks like some of you forgot the guy broke he's collarbone not so long ago......of cause he is not in peak form....first major tour back.....broke he's collarbone....focusing mainly on the Tour!!What do you expect the guy to do???<?: prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> At that level and in those mountains if you lose 2% of your prep during the last 6weeks before a tour most guy's will look a lot worse than what Armstrong did yesterday and he had to take almost 2 weeks off from serious training!!!!Come on people now suddenly you want to judge how good he is on this?? Anybody remember Ullrigh doing the Giro as prep....man was he strong in the Giro that year!!Didn?t do that bad in the Tour did he? So what is Cunego's excuse??
  20. Also don't understand this, they took samples of he's hair for DNA testing....the test came back negative. So how did he dodge that?? Get some implants done in the shower?? I do however agree the Lance versus France is getting a bit old but I think that is how he works...he needs to have the trolls in he's life!
