Would it not be a good idea to hold on a bit and test the 650b and decide which one you prefer? I will admit than when I was upgrading from my old 120mm stumpy I did loan a 29er stumpy from spaz for a weekend to test as well. The ride was brilliant as I expected but I couldn't live with looking down at the fork and seeing just how much it was flexing while riding! I would have also had to upgrade the wheels as the roval wheels flexed when flicking the bike around. I am sure the Enduro would be better tho.

It hadn't been build then, I did size it up when I was down for the Kzn enduro but it wasn't part of the stage so I didnt hit it. I will be down there this weekend and want to check out all the new freeride stuff so I will probably hit it this weekend if i am not riding alone.

Yeah dude, the only way I will let her go would be as a complete bike and the price would be rediculous due to how much I love the bike! Considering it is only a 120mm travel bike it has seen some gnarly bits a trail and has never let me down

Pitty the head angle is 0,5 degree steeper than my old 2007 120mm stumpy comp... Good thing I am happy with my current ride or my credit card might have been in trouble...

Does this screw tension the clutch itself or is this not the screw that changes position that the RD sits in which removes or adds tension to the chain?

I noticed this when comparing my Shimano and SRAM chains the other day, Both have very low KM on them and the SRAM has WAY more lateral movement.

I have to object to the fox, I'm not going to debate about its weight or vents but DAYM! I found the fox lids to be very uncomfortable! this may just be because of my weird shaped head though... While the Super does get a bit warm I would rather deal with the warmth and have the comfort of the Super! It is the most comfortable lid I have tried on and really makes you feel indestructible

I would be in the same boat if I made the Morzine trip... Since I didn't, any excuse to ride in KZN will do
