    I wanted to ask if we should start to name and shame shitty drivers who are cyclist and cyclist who are shitty cyclist on that one I asked why people put strava on and drive a route....

    a while ago, from a dude on his cell phone that passed me within 30cm, while having his bike on a bike rack. Chances are he is on this very forum complaining about idiot drivers. When I mentioned to another "friend" that i can not stand it when people text and drive and take pictures etc. His response was "I have not killed anyone YET, and do you everything perfect?" So yes I am irritated when I get a KOM defender email from strava and see someone forgot their phone strava and did 124km/h on the road from Meerendal at 16:30 when there are LOTS of cyclists and runner on that road. They will be the 1st to cry when someone close to them get knocked over or killed.

    I have been thinking, why don’t we start naming and shaming our fellow cyclist breaking the road rules ( same a shaming the dopers) especially in areas where we ride often. For example where they get in their cars and do 120km/h from Meerendal to Durbanville. This section almost always has cyclist on it and the speed limit is 80 then 70 then 60 If we see a fellow cyclist skipping a red light, look him/her up on Strava flyby and post it? I know getting it ismotorist to give us an inch is going to take time, but maybe if we start with our fellow cyclist passing us within a meter or speeding etc and we name them then they will stop at least?

    100% happy, no failures so far. Edit: The cycle shops get their bearing from the same place. I buy branded ones. SKF or NCC

    The place I go get my pivot bearings gave me a list of LBS'S that buy ALL their bearings there.... And the bearings are quality.

    My Last comment on this, what if he rolled the bakkie? Does his family need that stress extra right now? It is at times when we have many things on our minds that accidents happen, and I would hate for this family to another tragedy right now(or ever again)

    Price is low, but it is not a SWorks... Seems that the person has NO Idea what bike it is....

    My Thoughts are with him....hope he heals up soon. On another note. Why put your OWN life and others on the road in danger by recording a video while driving? Sometimes no hands on the steering wheel? Clearly not a MOUNTED camera.

    You are now giving the features of devices. You have not answered the question. We were talking about Garmin connect VS Strava. You said Garmin connect gives you the same as strava but free. But Strava gives you FTP etc which is not on Garmin connect as you said. Or I have never found it there

    Not at all a comparrison, I was merely saying I wonder why people dont follow rules. I might as well have said, people on their phones while driving. or people watering their garden while we have water restrictions..... People walking their dogs, and not having them on a lead.... etc.
