Yes.. I dont understand why they serviced it when they are not allowed/qualified to do so. Highly dissapointed in them. I take its possible to screw up a fork if you dont know how to service it? Lets see how it plays out tomorrow...

Ok. So I took my bike to LBS(Before I make their name known I want to see how the are gonna handle this one) for major service. While it was there I got a call from a staff member. He said my shock was sommer serviced there and not send away to where ever they usually send it...Got bike back the next day(suspect?). Lock out didnt work anymore, fork was very stiff and travel looked more than what it was. Took bike back this morning.. Got there at 17:00 because bike was ready. Lock out still wont work. I got a little mad. Worker tells me they are not allowed to service forks... not licensed to do so....? So the lbs took my fork off and puts on an old reba on. very old. just so that I can train this week. they are now gonna send it away. What would you have done and how would have you reacted? And what should the lbs do to make up for this mess?

Agree on the podium statement. i did test one.. was flippen heavy! Handling perfect! Thinking about the zero 10 though and not his heavy full susser brother for marathon and stage racing.. If you spend serious dollar on the one ten build you might get it under 12,5kg???

I would not dare do a night ride in the east...

Entered for rust the winter. going to zebula to do a long ride there instead. So I have an entry for sale... R100.. Next race is 8 Dec vori-berg and then 9 Dec Babba's lodge and hopefully 22 Dec rock pedal george if not then 26 Dec in Knysna... Anyone doing vori-berg en babbas on these dates...???

I agree Mapa..Work of the devil.Don't ride alone on those roads..but I refuse that fear stop me from biking.. Couple of us did that route next to the railway last saturday.. Muddy it was. But the robbers wait for those easy targets.. the alone riders. Hope the rider gets well soon an make it to the epic finish line.. Good luck.

Hi all. In the beginning of the year I got a race calendar in one of the magazines. Think it was the Ride. Not sure. Listed was the Rock Pedal Classic Mtb race in George on 17 December 2012. I went on to the facebook page and it said 22 December 2012. Visit the Web page and it says 5 January 2013. Maybe I am being DOF, does anyone know anything about this race on the 22nd of December 2012. I desperatly want to do this one. Any contact details?? I have phoned the number on the web site..Voicemail.. I have also sent emails.. No reply.. Can Anyone please help?

Saw couple of guys missing the left turn on that steep short climb about 35 km in...They missed the whole climb and that washed away section...1km down the road they joined again..well ahead of me though... All and all a great day. Climbs harder than van gaalens. But overall not harde than val gaalens...great race!

My seeding 32.5 B batch marathon... my cuz seeding is 33.56 and he is in A batch marathon.Few mistakes still slipping through.. I am happy though. I am not an A batcher....yet...
