  1. that's how I worked it out as well, but apparently a shorter cage will shift better, only thing is you won't be able to go big front to big rear or small to small. But you shouldn't be doing that anyway. So I'm quite keen to try the shorter cage to improve shifting.
  2. How do you determine what cage length your rear derailleur should be? I'm running 22/32/44 front and 11-32 rear. Shimano SLX or XT rear Derailleur.
  3. i wonder if she plucks on first dates....
  4. it's definitely not right the way it is being applied at the moment. i agree with the principal behind it though.
  5. "do you f..k on first dates, does your dad own a brewery? could i feel your tits, or would you shoe em to me." - Kevin 'Bloody' Wilson. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5b65Zf6r-RE
  6. don't know about that. when i drive home from the airport down the N2 past all the shacks to my home on the golf estate, i as a whitey don't feel like i'm getting too much of a raw deal...
  7. Ya D, you'll get all the usual "but what about the taxis" chops trying to justify why they are allowed to speed.
  8. I waited only 3 days for my replacement Giant Anthem frame from Dragon Sports in Cape Town - would have been even less time if the LBS caught a wake up. Great service from Dragon.
  9. that's the general South African "I have money so phuck you" attitude. and those same w@nkers will be the first to complain about taxi drivers.
  10. you better hope harder - it's going to PISS tomorrow - like buckets full of cats and dogs...
  11. saw that. I might 'develope' a serious illness on Friday night...
  12. I'm also in the 75km and that's going to be 75km of pain.
  13. i didn't want to attend the prize giving anyway.....
  14. it's going to be muddy even if it doesn't rain for the rest of this week. that area takes a long time to dry out.
  15. didn't think it was that muddy - more the pools of water that were a bit kuk. But this is MTB - you've got to take the **** with the sugar. Great route. Only problem is by the time I got to the best singletrack I was too tired to enjoy it. Anyone doing Gravel Travel on Staurday?
  16. no those are new pictures from this week as far as I know.
  17. and inside, some hardcore drinkers
  18. i had the same problem. destroyed my chain so i put on a new one and it kept jumping on the cluster with even less than 1600km on. borrowed an old chain from a friend - problem sorted. old cluster + new chain = problems.
