    Apparently the driver didn't have a licence and the car wasn't road worthy or licenced to. Lets hope stricter action is taken against these bastards and not just a slap on the wrist.

    Great Idea, funny how the website has no mention of R200 for the app. Still not sold on the idea of not being able to use your Garmin/ Bryton,etc. cant see my smart phone lasting a full ride with GPS and data on. I think there are gonna be a few technical issues to sort out but im super keen!

    Maxxis Crossmarks Geax Segaros Conti X-king Protection These are your best bet, Maxxis being the cheapest and Conti most expensive. Are you running tubeless? Not sure how available these tyres are in a 650B, speak to your local bike store

    29er tyres

    Had Conti x-kings on my 26" over 2000km and not a days ****, loved them!!. Upgraded to a 29er, stuck some Maxxis Ikons on, almost 2000km in and the bubbling and oozing sealant, dont recommend them at all. Most popular combination at the Epic where Geax Segaro up front and AKA on the back, just fitted them and iv heard good things. Would love to get another set of 29er Conti X-king Protections but they pricing them out of the market.

    We meet at about 5.40 so can be at the corner of Main and Lonehill soon after. where do you join on main?

    Guv and I start at the Engen in lonehill and end at Investec on Grayston. Route is via, main, bryanston,west road north and west road south if that helps.
