The other option to look at is the Omega Brace. I run mine with both my Impact Rig & my current Acerbis Chest protector with no issues. PAD KTM in Edenvale had them going at half price in December... (I'm not sure if that sale is still running, but they were a steal at that price). Both Omega & Leatt have their pros & cons. You'll have to do your research and make a call on which one suites your needs best. Enjoy!

The face is for the fact that you have to drop an extra R300 just to get a prettier paint job done on the chest protector. I want the fancy paint job, I don't want the inflated price tag

I have the Thor Impact Rig too. It's a great piece of kit and offers heaps of protection & the protection stays where it's meant to be for the most part. The BIG downside is that it is extremely hot. I would not go for this if you are going to be doing heaps of pedaling or standing around for any length of time. I can not use it if I'm out on my dirt bike in super tech stuff as it is just too hot. I do use it for DH stuff though as I like the back protection. I comes off between runs though. I'm also getting a Thor Sentinel (for the dirt bike) so once I've put some time in with that wrapped around me I'll give more feed back. The downside is that you'll need standalone elbow guards which often have a tendency to work there way down your arm, during a run.

Yup, the numbers in the vicinity of the DHL jumps are definitely growing and pretty much that whole area opposite Field n Study through to William Nicol has packs of guys living in it. I really hope we don't have issues starting there in the future.

I woke up this morning, got dressed and went in the kitchen where my wife was already fixing breakfast. I looked to see what she was cooking and I see one of my socks in the frying pan. "What are you doing?" I asked her. She said "I'm doing what you asked me to do last night when you came to bed very drunk," she replied.
