I once hit a pedestrian on my dirt bike. He was walking towards me, in the middle of a gravel road. I headed to the far left to get past, but it turns out he was old, blind and deaf, and at the last second, he heard me coming and instinctively jumped to his right, straight into me. Not a pleasant experience, as I really thought I'd killed him. Now I take it really slowly around pedestrians on whichever bike I'm on.

I'm sure there is a battle plan somewhere that will help...

Felt like a complete dirt roadie on the ride. Flew along the flat sections at a good pace, but as soon as the track turned uphill, I just went backwards. Apologies to all those that had to get past my walking ass on the climbs. Definitely need to practice my hill climbing some more. The route itself was great. The single track was good and varied. The 1st steep downhill was scary! Big respect to those that rode down that. The off-camber rock section before and after the 1st waterpoint was seriously technical, and required proper skills and commitment. I lost my sense of humor on the uphill after the 2nd waterpoint, but quickly found it again on the next descent. Overall, still relatively pleased with my 40km result. 2:27:55 184th

Hardly a vendetta. If you followed this story, without bias, you would see that Jarrad merely asked some probing questions about the product (which is controversial, whatever way you look at it). In response, he was shot down, blocked on Twitter and threatened with legal action. Who is the one actually not engaging in the conversation?
