  6. I wanted to, but there was just a bit too much traffic and didn't want to give him a fright and cause an accident.
  7. I nearly drove into a fellow cyclist with my car , I noticed that he was riding strangely so I slowed down, the next thing he suddenly is in front of me. When I managed to get past him I noticed that he was trying to send a sms from his cell phone while riding his bike Unfortunately it was in a place where I couldn't stop my car and give him a piece of my mind about what he was doing.

  18. That is not bad times - just over a minute for a length in a olympic size swimming pool. That is around average for "normal" people.
  19. The registration is a bit of a pain, currently I am residing in Carletonville, now to I have to drive around 120km one way on either Monday or Tuesday to register is quite a hassle. Now it is during office hours when the majority of us are working. Then if I cant make it on Monday or Tuesday to drive close to 200km one way on Friday just to register is also a bit much. Also to stay for the weekend is too much.
  20. There are no results except for the guys that came in first. This is a poor UCI sanctioned event.
  21. It has got UV ray filters and anti-glare builtin - had to have them as I have got very sensitive eyes
  22. I have been riding with normal glasses for over two years now and not once did I have any problems

  24. There is a possiblity that it will be with all this snow and then the wind blowing over it.
  25. I have been doing this event since it started around 3 years ago. In the beginning it was a lap race inside the Island Area. It is nice to see how this event has progressed over the years. It is also growing every time. Yolandi and Ben have ridden in the event last year. They are constantly making changes and improvements to the route.
