  1. I heard that they can't produce, because they are waiting for their supply of Propolis. Apparently they should have it soon.
  2. The shipping cost is R45.00, but they don't say how they are going to send it.
  3. Me too and I think they are awesome. Fast tread in the center, and plenty of grip on the sides with those C knobs. Although I am looking at some weight weenie tubeless tyres for cross country etc. and keeping the Monorails for general rugged rides.
  4. Another 40 votes from me. Come on guys, wouldn't you love to see a Hubber like Pornstar kick some butt on a national TV show!
  5. Yes you can. I've read on several forums about guys doing it with no problems. My LBS also says that it won't be a problem. I'm seriously thinking about doing it myself, I want a double chainring with BB30 bottom bracket, and the XX cranks look like a nice stiff option. I must just check what it will cost to replace the chainrings when they wear out
  6. +1' date=' was just going to ask that. What about other electronic items like hifi gear etc? [/quote'] Still no info on cycle computers/Garmin. Has anyone brought one in?
  7. My 22 Votes are in... more to follow. Go Collin!
  8. Ha Ha and you're the "techguy"!
  9. Pornstar, I buy my Whasp from Dischem in Westwood Mall, because they usually have the full range. But lately the only gels that they have are two Peptopro gel sachets lying on the shelf. They say the same thing as Dischem in Hillcrest: the supplier is very slow and they battle to get stocks. I doubt that this is true, but it doesn't help me. I use Whasp because it works, but right now I am at the point where I am about to start trying other products! (Rant over) Please could you tell me where I can get a consistent supply of Whasp in the Durban area.
  10. Look here for info on going "Ghetto": https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=24545&KW=tubeless I have done this on about 5 sets of wheels with absolutely no problems. I do the "skinny" version, where you cut the BMX tube into a thin strip, resembling a normal rim strip.Wallee2010-01-21 05:13:55

  12. At that price range, I would definitely look for a decent 2nd hand bike. Anthem and Trance are both good bets.
  13. CYCLESURE! I've never had any dealings with Miway, but I just put a claim through with Cyclesure for a new frame and helmet. They have already paid my LBS no questions asked.
  14. What an awesome logo. Well done Mampara. Hey hamster dog, more info please. I would really like to come and check the place out during the holidays.
  15. I wouldn't by the steerer. Fun for the virtual reality programs, but not necessary for training. I got to get me that trainer software.
  16. https://www.bikehub.co.za/forum_posts.asp?TID=45881&PN=5 Brandon Els: "I met with Chris Warrick today of Maxxis North America. Maxxis do not believe that sealants have any affect on the bubbling of tyres after exhaustive tests. The only reason they have a disclaimer is for liability reasons where a consumer does not seat the tyre correctly after installation of the sealant and this incorrect seating may lead to claims against Maxxis for injuries sustained by the consumer from tyre derailment. Recent bubbling of in particular Crossmarks was as a result of an incorrect lay up of a large batch of tyres. Should bubbling occur on any Maxxis tyre it is not the result of the sealant and the tyre should be returned immediatly to Probike for a replacement."
  17. HA HA HA - I was so excited when I saw this post, I also thought it was Hillcrest Durban
  18. Thanks Bike Medicine, I received my new white ESI grips today. Niice! I can't wait to put them on.
  19. I have to say that the Tropical Flavoured AminoCarb is by far the best tasting carb drink I have ever used . I find the Magenta Crazy Berry gels are ok flavoured (and they do work), unlike the Green Crazy Kiwi gels (I'm sure they work too but I can't force them down) I am keen to try the new "tweaked" flavours!
  20. Don't the 600ml Gel bottles come with a flask?
  21. Those bikes are SUPER HOT! Well done Morewood! And when they're pimped with that Crank Bro's kit it gives me goose bumps! What wheelset is that on the Kwela?
