    I have done quite a few laps there lately. I am convinced there are much less animals than before. Anything to do with the Vets Trucks that were there a lot last year?

    Damn. I forgot this overlaps with Panorama. Already committed there. I really want to take my Slate to a race that is actually friendly towards my friend.

    Agreed. It is his race and he makes the rules. Clearly there is a market for gravelgrinding. This protecting the rider against himself with dropbars reminds me of the no sleeveless rule...

    As soon as my Slate is welcome I'm in. Until then it will have to be Panorama. Roadbike for the road, MTB for rough stuff and gravel bike for gravelgrinding. Sounds about right?

    I am ashamed to admit that I actually spent many hours explaining to people how stupid this concept is /was. Clearly we should allow stupid people to proudly wear their traditional clothes without harassment.

    Great event again. Hot as hell today... Those loose/scraped surfaces made day 2 "special". The recent veld fires made for a post- apocalypse type feeling at times. A must do race.

    Please tell me that you will have different sizes. I am a 62/63 and non of the many caps are suitable for 3-5 hour rides - all too tight.
