Went over klapperkop this morning at 05:30, came around the corner at about 35kph, and nearly took out the 3 Zebra standing in the middle of the road. Managed to pass them after about two minutes slow riding behind them until they eventualy left the road at the reservoir. Then again nearly took out another two at the bottom near the guards house. So watch out for these bushveld stop streets if you cycle there in the dark.

Am I the only one that thinks it is a bit silly (read dangerous) for a woman to cycle on her own through South Africa, and then Africa (I assume it is with no back-up??) But nonetheless it is impressive.
