Hi guys I have been following with much jealousy, and much respect for you two sticking through this year of highs and lows. I have been wondering as I am sure others are also some have hinted at the question,,,so ILL BE THAT GUY COSTS,BUDGETS and surely a cut off, I don't want specifics I'm more curious even on scale system would also be cool, I am just trying to understand the financial plan On purchasing the "barn" was there an initial budget, if so were you within initial ball park you had in mind when setting off on your adventure On the costs up to this point,,did you know that there were going to be as many hurdles when you initially started as you guys have been through. I'm sure you didn't initially plan for builds paper work and use of architects to be done over and over I'm sure they not submitting and changing everything for free With seeing how "things work" over there are you recalculating costs going forward and changing any expectations Initially what time period did you work on before you "expected" any income from your venture Now the majority of the thread this question would never have crossed my mind because I've seen how passionate you guys are and how you have approached everything thrown at you till this point,,,,,,,here it comes BUT if things continue at the current pace do you guys have a cut off point where the minister of finance eventually says NO,,,NO MORE If there is a cut off is there a plan B Obviously no one wants this I think the HUBBERS following this thread are living your dream through your updates

I would think a small percentage, its like when the vaalies pull into durbs ,,,locals run why ride with thousands of riders who cant ride when you can rise most of the route at you own time and no drama

I think as far as the organizers go, they weigh up everything, I've seen a porta loo blown across the street and we rode, If I got to start the race and I had to stop at the rock garden down the road I would have been equally upset If they said ok cheers go boys go "ride" and one cyclist died or was injured in the protest or flying off chappies all hell would have broken loose All factors into account they made the right call, but you are really living in a bubble if you think people will lay out all that money to get there to be told no race and have nothing to say about it
