  1. wonder what group he is seeded in?
  2. Talking of runways, did you know we have a runway in SA (in mafikeng) thats almost 5km long? Heard somewhere that its a alternate landing strip for the space shuttle if they miss their entry point. We had a skydiving boogie there once, that thing is huge, cool to see from the air
  3. I claimed 15000 base fitness points' date=' and the bonus points last year for cycling races... MTB and Road events. All Vitality require is that the results be published on the net... Championchip/Racetec/SpectrumSport solves that problem for you [/quote'] so where/how do you claim?
  4. I registered for SA-active but it's mostly for running races so not much help for us cyclists

  6. I just bought myself a brand new Yeti last year, I have been extremely happy with the bike. I had the feeling that I was riding my dream bike and didnt even look at other bikes, until now............ Why couldnt they just leave me alone for a while??? http://www.singletracks.com/images/uploads/2009/09/yeti_asr_5_2-0.jpg http://reviews.mtbr.com/interbike/files/2009/09/yeti_asr5_full.jpg

  8. I've just donated some bucks to them, if we all do the same it might get them to the end
  9. i think its gonna be great, I'm not a huge soccer fan but its a cool event to host, and i cant wait for the atmosphere around the cup I just think they could've been wiser in their spending (but we all know the ANC is not run by accountants) Take the mbombela stadium, that cost them R710 000 000 to build. There's only 4 games to be played there, that works out to R177 500 000 per game. Whats gonna happen to that stadium after the world cup? They dont have a big soccer or rugby team that will fill the seats regularly. What a waste.....
  10. Farm workers: Easy to solve. Farmers workers register with their farmers and they recieve a Cradle Pass, renewed annually jeesh dude, as if there is not enough k@k in this area you want to re-instate the pass system? cant wait to hear what julias malema will have to say about that
  11. Use Brake & contact cleaner. I use Belray, but I think Motorex has a similar product. Most motorbike shops should stock it. The guys at Frits Pienaar Paulshof also have something similar they use but I cant remember the brand name. Maybe just ask them.

  15. What is the universal language? Ek het nie geweet daar bestaan so iets nie? Mandarin Chinese is die mees populerste taal' date=' maar dan moet ons seker ander keyboards kry! [/quote'] i read in yesterday's daily mail that the education minister wants to introduce mandarin classes in every school in the uk. dan moet hulle pakistani ook leer
  16. Anyone tried Etxeondo bibs?? I've recently bought a pair and cant fault them one bit, and they're much better priced than Assos
  17. We drove through one of those "end of the world" storms comming back last night and looking up I didnt enjoy seeing R100k's worth of bikes being pummeled by the storm. So thats my biggest fear at the moment, driving into the garage with the bikes on the roof
  18. My fiance has just got a new car and instead of installing a towbar to fit my bike rack on, we bought a roof rack and two pro rides. This weekend we took it out for the first time, driving to nelspruit with it. It was a bit nerve racking to say the least, didnt feel comfortable having our babies flapping around in the wind ontop of the roof. Does the nervousness pass after a while? How do you guys keep reminding yourselves not to drive into garages or park under shade nets with the bikes on the roof? How many of you have forgotten about them and driven into something?
  19. After reading the story of the woman that got gangraped by police officers in Kempton, no ways, they're a bunch of crooks from the top down
  20. Buy a Prado, best vehicle you'll ever own. End of argument......
  21. I've been there, I did my openwater one in PE with Ocean divers Int
  22. Yes you feel like you're canned and ready for the shark to eat. After doing this I've changed my viewpoint completely, I've done many scuba dives and many of them with sharks. I loved every one of those dives and have never once felt scared of the sharks. But I know guys that have 1000's of dives and have never seen a great white shark and probably never will while scuba diving. You cant keep them in a aquarium because they stop eating after a while when captured. So if you want to see a great white, this is the only way to do it.
  23. They could always use politicians. i'm afraid even great whites have taste and would probably not be interested...
  24. in that last pic the shark (about 4m) slammed his tail against the cage, the whole boat shuddered. You could feel there's allot of power there, ha ha they guys in the cage shat themselves
