I remember in science class one day, a 20kg oxygen canister fell over and the nozzle was knocked off on the corner of the table as it fell over. It took off like a rocket, smashing through tables and chairs... the teacher was first out the door screaming "everyone for themselves!". Thankfully no one was seriously injured.

Almost was... was happy with normal shorts until a female friend told me that cycling pants not only make it more comfortable but also support the generals. One day... bit too expensive for me now

I haven't a clue how to change a bike tire... I bought a tube but hoping I don't get a puncture in a race.

Hopefully more technical than the 1st one... I don't get the seeding system too. Although there seems to be a complex formula that puts you where you are in the system. I am moving from a 20km to a 40km... so I guess I have to start all over again. Looks great though!

Don't worry - I don't do that racing kit stuff. Personally I am pretty happy wearing shorts, t-shirt and takkies. I did pretty well in my race and overtook a lot of people in their expensive clad. But a female friend pointed out to me that normal clothes are not good for "the generals". I was fine after a 20km... despite the warnings of chafe etc. I guess I will see
