Well put Christie! Only other factor to include is price. But the most important thing is fit and that you like your bike! If a bike does not fit me and I don't like the look of it I will not care how stiff or good or what not it is.
The new polar chest straps are quite a bit nicer than the old ones. One of the modifications is that you can replace the battery yourself. Have not done so yet but there is a screw off 'cap' on the back so seems easy enough.
