  1. I have a GT Zaskar Titanium that is on the small side for me.. Perfect condition if anyone is interested.. Think it is a 19inch (not so clued up with MTB sizing).
  2. Any more results to share?
  3. No idea where you can look at De Rosa frames but I think the easiest place to get them is through www.comobike.com (owned by Saffa Brent Copeland). Which model are you interested in? No experience with SRAM but seems to be quite nice. I still prefer Campag.
  4. What is the problem that you are refering to? Politics, dangerous roads, drugs, everything? Generally if you can come home from a ride feeling good about yourself and with a smile on your face keep on going!
  5. I am not so sure. Why can you hammer a MTB so much but have to treat a road bike like it is made of glass? Of course I would not advise using carbon wheels or super expensive bikes etc. cause the risks are just to high, but theoretically it should work. Last time I was home I did quite a bit of 'off-roading' and riding on gravel roads on my old GT. Worked like a dream and was a lot of fun.
  6. I think it is a fabulous idea. Something new and different! Of course I do not expect anyone else to feel the way I do which is a pity. Now if they were to organise an elite race with a gravel section and loops so spectators could come out and enjoy it... hmmm..
  7. Decent shorts or shammy cream solve the problem, not the cause. Well, tries to solve the cause, usually fails. I used to have the biggest saddle sore troubles. Never comfy, never happy. Sores on the right hand side 80% more than the left. Just got back from a tough 6 day tour and I do not have a single problem/sore/issue with my undercarriage thanks to my Selle SMP saddle. It may look "different" to put it lightly but if it works there is no arguing. http://www.sellesmp.it Available either from Omnico or www.comobike.com

  9. Nice wheels! Both the lightweights and the Lews. Lightweights have been head and shoulder above the rest (well, besides ADA which are very similar) since they came out over 10 years ago. The Lews might just be the 'next thing'. Just been launched so will be interesting to see how they fare in the real world. Almost disgusting how many pairs of Lightweights are out and about in Switzerland.. Lucky buggers.
  10. Hey Peter Have you seen this yet? http://quarq.us/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 Not out yet but it certainly looks interesting and has some very nice features.
  11. I like the fashion statement, Beer in hand! Very important. What is up with rollers before the race? Have seen that a few times on thehub now.
  12. regmakers are those little pills you buy @ the petrol stations. Keep you buzzing for hours... But what makes them technically doping?
  13. Thanks Gianni. Has anyone ever told you that you are very sneaky?
  14. Minimum Salary on a Pro Tour team is something like 20 000 Euro a year in basic salary. Add prize money to that and it might go up a wee bit. Someone like Ricardo Ricco was earning 40 000Euro this year but thanks to his stellar (????????....) performances this year his paycheck is something like 600 000 Euro for next year. How to turn pro? will tell you if I ever make it..
  15. Good morning Duck
  16. OMG What next
  17. Jip, seems rumours are fake. Sjoe!!!! I darn well hope they are. Otherwise...... Dont want to think...
  18. Soler owns the polka jersey, he would only be borrowing the white. So makes no sense to wear a jersey he does not own instead of one that he does, no matter what the importance.
  19. Is this Dawid by any chance related to Jacques Griessel from Bellville?Matie cyclist back in the day.
  20. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=che3_xqCNrg&mode=related&search= Fantozzi is something like Italy's Schuster. Nice video
  21. Omnico sells them so go and ask any bike shop that sells something from Omnico, which means just about any bike shop. Pretty nifty little tool that. (GT, Schwinn, D'arcs, Mongoose, Bell, Giro, Ryder etc etc etc)
