As someone who's name (Steven not Stephen) gets misspelt often I wouldn't let it upset me that much Brendin. I personally would have taken up the offer but glad everyone has closure and if anything Leatt has got some free product development feedback to improve their products by.

It is frustrating that us short shorted individuals cannot just buy an off the shelf pair of glasses. Off the optometrist to spend thousands on a riding pair of glasses, not to mention the lense replacements when your prescription changes....

Jensen Beeler from Asphalt and Rubber has explained this in more detail on his podcast. Essentially they tanked Alta and one of the leads their now works for their electric bike division. This to try and help them get out of the death spiral they find themselves in. Harley is in big trouble, sales are dropping like a stone and their new lines aren't as great as they would hope. The electric thing is also not working, they have dropped their prices like crazy and the sales are still not coming.......

It is not exempt from these external forces. It should bounce back quicker, ultimately it is unfortunately still linked to the USD when valued.

So teams should simply employ domestiques on e-bikes (with limiters removed). No race tag obviously. As long as the winner was towed by an e-bike to victory, and not physically riding it then that's fine. Seems to be acceptable according to some commenters here that believe it is not a problem.
