Now that the team entry is secure, they just need to commit to a manufacturer. Everything points to Suzuki at this stage. Maybe now that this is secure we may hear of a the retirement, but more likely at Mugello.

So what stops this from just being a procession? No strategy, minimal tyre wear, etc. And then the grid forms up exactly as it would have, so is this just to hand out more points for no reason? Why not reverse grid for the top 10 places. Or put numbers in a hat while making up the rules....

The PA is getting surprisingly good reviews so far. Perhaps this is their turn around. That being said, they are 10yrs behind the curve. While every manufacturer is doing smaller displacement, lighter weight adventure bikes, Harley builds a massive boat anchor. Will appeal to the tourer, more than the adventurer I suspect.

As someone who has had a front wheel deflate at 120km/h, the result was not pretty, do it right!! If that means other rims, which I would advise, then so be it.

Jip, heard about it. See there has been a spike in headlight theft in SA. Also saw a worrying video of catalytic convertor theft in Europe, stop next to the vehicle, jack it up and use a saw to remove the cat. Drop the vehicle and leave. Crazy!!!

We ended up buying a Duke 390 from another dealer. He was up front on his R3500 fee to register it. I promptly agreed to do it myself which cost just over R1400. I realize they charge for their time along with the process but to bundle it with a compulsory warrantee program is crazy!!

Just on We Buy Cars, I was looking at bikes by them and was put off. The Dekra reports are great, to stop you wasting time. They have set admin fee's which are non-negotiable, as are the vehicle prices no matter the condition or faults pointed out. Mismatched fork seal, leaking forks, bald tyres, etc., sorry the price is the price...... You then have to roadworthy and register yourself, or so I was told. When I asked can they do it I was told only if I take the warranty which includes a service, etc. It literally added almost R15k, at which point I walked away. The lack of transparency was the worst part.

Jip, Dovi has a test on the 12th April (same day Marc gets a dr checkup), rumour is he will be racing by June if the test goes well. In other news, an imminent ban on the holeshot device/launch control is coming fast. I am 100% for it, very dangerous situations are being created through their inconsistent execution/use.......
