  1. Well, this is now my latest addition - A Spong & Co number 4 conical burr grinder for R630. A few hours later and LOTS of elbow grease this is the result. Oh and mmmmmmmmmmmmm...... the coffee is niiiiiice.
  2. Download is +\- 55Mb. http://blog.teamtreehouse.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/InternetSlowdown_Day.gif It's worth the wait though
  3. I recently picked up a Spong no1 hand grinder like this one for 100 bucks. Results so far are rather good.https://encrypted-tbn1.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcTSD21dMG8TR8mgPxlFOhrEu6EVhg03nTX3rtInIkN-mocPzTWVXlKakITUng
  4. And how NOT to do it!!!
  5. And another
  6. Some cool skills!
  7. What a legend. Most completed tdfs in first place without any wins.
  8. #golance
  9. Jinne but sometimes you oaks push it a bit far hey.
  10. Even me, I can't see anything?
  11. Just imagine taking the kids to school in that thing!
  12. You speak the truth! Such wisdom for so early in the morning
  13. Ja, why not. If it won't dent your bank balance then I suppose it doesn't matter. You will just have to know that half the people who see you drive past will go "WOW" and the other half will mutter some unmentionable insult under their breath!
  14. Looks like someone feels the need to compensate for some or other lack in their life.
  15. Sadly I am pretty sure it was real. Just like the other guy who said the reason the dams are not full is because the old regime made them too big and therefore they never get full.
  16. Oh yes, it is also quite long at the back so it keeps your bum covered when you are crouched over in an aero tuck!
  17. Well to be honest I haven't yet used it in pouring rain yet but it is a slightly plasticky material and the sweat does form little droplets on the inside of the fabric. I will do a hosepipe test for you when I get home if you like!
  18. I have found this to be quite good for the price. Folds up nice and small, good visibility on the road and fully waterproof.http://www.weardirect.co.za/fluorescent-yellow-vizi-shell http://www.weardirect.co.za/sites/weardirect.co.za/files/imagecache/product_small/Vizi%20Shell%20Front%20400x400.jpg
  19. That also reminds me. A friend "found" an R4 bullet somewhere at boarding school (Possibly in the walk-in rifle/ ammo safe where our target shooting goodies were kept) and he took it down to the mechanics workshop, removed the slug and cordite and then proceeded to put the shell in the vice and then heat it up with a flame to make the primer go bang. Well needless to say it did go bang and he ended up with a primer embeded an inch deep in his thigh!
  20. What we used to do (and still do from time to time) is to take 6 to 8 match heads and fold them in a tiny piece of the striker surface from the match box then wrap the whole thing very tightly in some masking tape. Place said explosive device on a hard surface and whack it with a hammer and BOOM!!! People come running looking for where the gunshot came from!!!!
  21. Haha, now at least we can say that we don't go on the hub anymore.
  22. It looks like we are going to see some exciting racing with potentially big time gaps to those who are prepared to throw caution to the wind and keep it rubber side down till the end.
  23. http://m.aliexpress.com/item/32242808771.html This is what I use. Only problem is it takes 6 weeks or so to get here.
