  4. I would think with the consumer act the way it is they really have no choice but to give your money back?
  5. All this technology and they can't broadcast live, what has this world come too! lol

  7. Really wanted to do this one but also not keen to drive back after the race.. , think i am out.. disappointed
  8. wow if you spent as much time training as you did debating a superfluous topic you'd be a pro.. sorry.. just way to long to read so i had a witty response... instead
  9. All I can say is from 35km out...Legends are made of that kinda stuff... brilliant..., and still to have Roman just sitting and waiting he too probably could have dropped the rest...

  14. Had quite a fun Argus this time around, lol... did a whopping 5 hrs 40... morning didn't start well when i missed my start time....so started with the International Group in KK... and let me tell you it was interesting.. was off my bike whilst i waited for people to get back on theirs on Edinborough Drive ( not sure i spelled that right! ) had my handles bars knocked when pushed aside ... by some mad man going up SmitWinkel.. where is about the stage I started getting hungry, missed the feedstation near Red Hill.. so at the bottom of Chappies i went looking for food / and drink but the Red Herring was closed so I climbed Chappies.... and ended up at the E-Vida in Hout Bay for coffee... took a power nap on the couch before tackling the last stretch.... which actually went quite well!.
  15. Argus Climbs are longer ... than any others.. and the wind.. didn't help either.
  16. think i have had mine 2 years? wouldn't think it is a year thing possibly a charging thing it is Li-IO after all.
  17. This is going to be more interesting than the Oscar Trial do you think they can dedicate a channel to it on Supersport?
  18. In total agreement mine has recorded plenty miles.. and worked tremendously well, as you have pointed out, I too am a little disappointed its not just a replacement battery...
  19. may I ask where you got the battery? I'll give it a shot.... worst case scenario I'll take it back to Garmin and get a refurbished unit ..
  20. to go with my Chinarello?
  21. yip they say you can get it undone, however apparently the battery is also attached to the speaker, you have to cut the wires / or solder the wires.
  22. yeah this is a pretty simple process done this in the past.
  23. Involves a little more, than. just opening it or I would.. from what I have seen online. some soldering etc. Thinking this is why it is just easier to do swop outs for them, just think R1 300 is a bit excessive... never mind +- 7 days!
