Looking at the bigger picture for a second this really isn't an isolated incident, this happens all the time, only difference is this time it was caught on camera, quite frankly the lawlessness on the roads in South Africa is just ridiculous you just have to look at it on your way to work... in the morning people mounting pavements driving down one ways , no one cares, i say no one , i mean of course there are those that do.. however it is just a total lack of respect for others, it's not only the taxi's its your neighbor in his 4x4, like I said just lawlessness its a joke really. all we can really do is drive / ride a little bit better each day and be a little more patient and hopefully that makes a difference...

Makes perfect sense to me , he takes part in Marathon Stage Races at the highest level, he is pretty serious about his times, and is a really strong rider, so 3 of of 4 makes it the perfect choice for him

If anything i think he can hold both titles but perhaps someone else should look after the jersey..for him the U23 one that is.. cause i have never seen the winner of the first stage of tour... taking the green jersey instead of the yellow

Personally see no reason.. why he can't get both titles he just happen to be first over the line and under 23... good for him.. seriously.... the rules may say otherwise... bit of a hollow victory if there was count back and i was given a jersey in a race I was beaten in.

Have to say it was a really great day out, was good to be out on the bike with so many other like minded people, thought the Marshals were pretty good whilst the groups were together however as it split seemed to become more difficult to manage... overall definitely will do it again... this time i'll just keep in mind i may get an extra 20 lol...

Hell at that rate i should do it ..lol have a pair of ZIPPS sooner than later..

Sorry I really have to disagree with this entirely i mean seriously if you have a love for sport or want to take up a sport... there are rules that come along with that... if they discourage you from doing it entirely then you probably arent that passionate about it in the first place? shouldn;t be doing it? The 112km is for Elites, and it helps cater for slightly longer distances from my understanding , which makes sense there route is easier than Action Ford by far.
