  8. In the early days of moving into this industy we did learn a few tough lessions to get where we are today. We contiunue to develop our products to keep progessing. With in the last 3 years we have sold over 2000 rims, with less than 0.5% coming back for a warranty claim. I am pretty sure that much bigger brands struggle to have less claims. We only use the best products and really try to offer great value and support to all our customers.
  9. Hi All We strive to be reconized as providing the best customer service and support possible. Its great to hear all the nice comments however is disapointing to hear the others. We have and will always say please come in with your issues and we will assist. All our wheels are built specificly for us to our specs in the east (Which we dont hide). They have all gone through major testings and have passed in all areas and that is why, as far as we are aware we are the only South African company with UCI approval. We wish to thank all of our customers who continue to support us as we will keep doing the same for all of you. Going on 10years and may this continue on much much longer! Regards The DarkHorse Team Ps. Some exciting made in RSA products coming in the new year!!!
  10. Have a look at our rims. http://www.darkhorsewheels.com We can build them up with your hubs. Local company with great service and support with very happy customers. We also have pro riders pushing them hard with no issues.

  15. I am sorry to hear about your experience with RC as well as our wheels. I personally have only ever had good experiences with RC and they are my LBS of choice. Regarding your wheels please feel free to contact us to organise some new bearings. I am sure once you have got some new bearings in your wheels it will change your opinion on them.
  16. Hey Hubbers It is very difficult for us to arrange demo rides for all inquiries but if you have doubt to the quality of our wheels just follow the upcoming Tour of Rwanda and you will see Nico Thiart riding for South Africa with a set of our 38mm clinchers. And I can guarantee if the wheels were in anyway inferior to the top name brands he would not been using them. https://www.facebook...&type=1

  18. Have a read on our Facebook page what a professional rider has to say about our wheels. http://www.facebook.com/DarkHorseWheels/posts/307520842695635?notif_t=wall Just a quick thanks to Shane at Darkhorse wheels , for the superb help in getting a set of 88mm front and rear Darkhorse wheels. They are as light as my zipp 404 tubbys, and just as stiff. I race them on the road and have in the wind and undulating terrain such as Amashova and 94.7 without a hiccup . I have zips , boras and cane creek carbons so I have a fair amount of experience to draw on when deciding if a wheel is class or not and Darkhorse wheels are as good as you can get. Fact. There is no reason to spend 20-30k on Wheeks anymore that is for sure. I race professionally for Europcarsa and if they can hold up and perform great under our conditions , there is no reason they won't for any other! Thanks again Shane and all at Darkhorse for the great service! Peter-lee
  19. Hi Guys Thank you for the huge response to the offer to try out our wheels and write a review. Sorry we have not got back to everyone individually we have had a lot of offers. We have asked some guys to do a write up on the wheels which we will post up on our facebook page and the hub as soon as they are done.
  20. We unfortunately only have the review on our facebook page at the moment, which was written by a independent user. If there is someone who would like to try out the wheels and write a review for the hub or anywhere else, Please feel free to contact us to set something up.
  21. Thank you for all the positive comments! I am not sure who these "people" are who have tested our wheels and reckon they lack lateral stiffness as there is a rider on Team Europcar SA who prefers to ride our 88's over his Zipps and Bora's.
