I was told that the best combo is xtr levers with xt callipers. Took a 29er out yesterday and this I can say, other than being the wrong way round it was on the money. sharp, crisp short travel and consistant. Those are the brakes thats going on my bike...

It's my means of escaping the ratrace, geting to see it as a spectator.

It did get more than it asked for in the last week, new xtr shifters xt der and new brake pads all round, and a newish fork...

The last time I saw the bike was on the trailer at the total with the bridge thing. It was lost before the toll gate.

Did anybody maybe pick up a bike on the way there? mine came of the trailer some where after the onestop.

Tyre presure makes the bigest notaceble defarence. I have rocket rons and run them at 1.8 bar. lower than recomended but then the extra tracsion is the reason behind it.

Check last nite and got the new seeding... much improvement...

that's a bit od, one shifter for the back only. looks like only a few cogs on the back wheel?
