    So to revive an old thread and not directly related, but... Somehow my Jawbreaker nose piece ejected last year at the DC. I was able to order a metal clip/hook (Aliexpress), but not the nose piece. I'm under the impression Oakley doesn't provide these parts (they definitely don't provide the metal clip). Thoughts? 3d scan and print the nose piece? For reference, b&w pair does not have the nose piece. Black pair does...

    So I have 2 devices that need some Garmin assistance, first is a FR45, battery is poked. Second is a FR55, the start button fell out. Why I wonder does someone at iFix or something not consider Garmins, because of parts?

    I assume you're interested in mtb'ing (LizMTB)? What Buff/Andy will be a good starting point to get involved with like minded peeps. If you have a budget and bike size the hub will advise on new or second hand bike options.

    Maybe those that did participate can confirm whether there was any sort of rider survey? Looking at some of the other forums/platforms it does seem like the organisation can do with some refinement. Not sure whether the organisers are actually reading any of this.

    If a well organised event attracts people, then a poorly organised/less optimal event will potentially antagonise participants and start pushing people away. Short-term unhappiness will lead to potentially a decline in long-term numbers, and all the postive externalities/impact on the WC/SA will fall away? Is it not in the best interest of the organiser and region, for the organiser to action the rider feedback? And not come across as tone-deaf? I didn't participate, won't probably ever (unless I get a free ticket), but can surely see that the Epic's lekkerness will decline with the current approach.

    Agreed, please keep it civil and factual. But likewise, if information is factual and relevant, please keep the thread open. Everything right now is probably going to be conjecture until another done-in individual steps forward. But the fraud section is there for a reason. The facts are plain and simple and available across multiple forums, threads, facebook pages/posts, fake PoPs, etc. This individual has used multiple profiles on the Hub (and other sites) and has previously advertised one of these events on the Hub. Please share the case number when you receive it. I'll contribute R2k.

Just be sure that the person in question is reading this thread. Surely other event organisers should ban someone bringing so much disrepute to the industry.

    Lifetime GP purse for the full year is a total of $380k across 6 events. This will offer $150k across 6 days. If they can get Lachlan/Keagan/Sophia, (based on the connection with Matt and previously riding the other epic, why not), they'll have a good marketing step to attract the rest of the market.

    Can't comment on the train tracks, but the gravel roads in the George area are still generally safe, irregardless, just be vigilant.
