  1. Dr. Seuss actually Chilli_Pepper will be right behind me, since we're doing on a tandem
  2. No, hence I'm flying up for Hyper-to-Hyper and EP Herald rather...
  3. Yeah...I'm never dating your sister again
  4. I like pain
  5. Hopf is apparently riding for the old Abvest UCT squad, who also got a new sponsor...not sure who it is though...cocaine has all the details.. Dave Garret and Danny from Powerbar are riding for Pinnacle Point in SubVets next year, so at least the elites are spared some pain..
  6. GoLefty!! can't it also be that the BB sizes my differ? A narrower BB vs a wider BB...wider allowing more room for the chain...
  7. On my old Centaur groupset I could crosschain from 39->11 without a worry. Now with the Chorus, I can't crosschain at all...it seems to be the teeth on the 53blade picking up the chain and then throwing it off... I suppose it's time I learned not to cross-chain
  8. amoryns: jy moet maar die 'fatty filosofie' volg..attack, attack and attack... hulle sal of gatvol raak en jou laat gaan, of iemand sal jou sign want hulle sal jou voor sien
  9. I bought some Look Keo Classics from CWC just before the vets tour in October. Originally wanted Time, since I've consistently broken a set of pedals every year now (Look 247's etc), but the salesman (Evert) said the Keo's were good and they haven't had any returns. Tuesday the rear release mechanism broke, and I phoned CWC. Took the pedals in on Wednesday with the sales receipt, and was told "we just want to make sure it wasn't user fault"...I thought "here comes another Dell episode".. Yesterday I picked up a brand new pair of Look Keo Classics from CWC Can't fault that
  10. Dr. Seuss I rode the whole of Tour de Eden in 2004 on a 135gr SLR
  11. I've had the 135gr, and the carbonio...they work for my ass...and now have the XP...
  12. Can I have your SLR?
  13. BikeMax I'll be there, maybe bring Theo along again etc...
  14. Can't be me...I broke a pedal this morning and had to limp to work, and going to have fun trying to get home
  15. avoid fruits and nuts?
  16. chocolate mousse...*tick*
  17. Saturday, 141km in 5h10 with Joobs and some of the BikeMax guys. Sunday 100km in 3h39m from breakfast out to Stellenbosch and back. Both days the wind was pumping like only the South Easter can...
  18. So its true..."revenge is indeed a dish best served cold"??
  19. trust GoLefty! to give you the tech details
  20. SARA: girls should not wear baggies...what are the guys going to stare at then??
  21. Think he just lost it on the corner (its a sort of downhill corner thats also in the Argus, and usually packed with straw bales)...although it could have been another car, but there wasn't that much glass, and no other car with damage (unless the towtrucks removed it already)...who knows
  22. Big-H: a team mates had Dura Aca on his Giant...new chain required every 6 weeks, then changed to Campy Chorus, new chain required every 6 months... If you don't believe me, I'll give you the LBS phone number, and rider's phone number...
  23. popeye, no...look at the part where Ian's handlebar is. That air vent fits the 430 more than the 360. The 360 vent is much more 'stretched'...
  24. I Googled a bit, and it looks like this was a F430. It's a V8, and capable of doing around 300km/h. The base price listing starts at $168 000, so if you do a quick bit of math you're looking at a cool R1 200 000 for it (roughly)...
  25. Flippa: rather use a Campy chain. If the price is an issue, contact CWC, since I got a Record chain from them the last time for R330!!
