  3. Just be mindful of bearing tolerances, I'm not too sure how thick the coating will be, but the tolerances can be quite tight. Let me know how it goes, Been a project I want to do. Cheers Sam

  6. Just plain old rubbing alcohol, cleans them up nicely and allows you to slide them on, then evaporates off. No residue, no fuss.
  7. I have a couple sets of 26er slicks in my garage Pm me your postal/house adress and I'll send them to you Use what you have, no need to buy anything else, just have some fun!
  8. These are quite good at comparing performance. Personal preferences, not so much... Edit- Not 100% sure on the exact year on these graphs though, so actually pretty useless.
  9. I got several of mine last week too, nothing as fancy as yours, but still very happy
  10. I did the 40k (Age restriction meant I couldn't enter 70) Which I am very glad I did! 25k's in I managed to snap 2 adjacent links in my chain. Needless to say as am a weight weenie and didn't have a power link or multitool with a chain breaker on me as that would have added FAR to much weight and NEVER be needed! Well I most certainly needed one. So I ripped off my chain, stuffed in my pocket, dropped my saddle and made one of these bad boys fit for a 6ft 1' individual 'Rode' or 'Ran' for ten K's like that and then found a nice guy who was more than happy to give me his multitool and power link. Thanks Ben! Fun race, pity a few tech sections got a bit congested but overall despite my push bike, Great day out on the bike.
  11. Thanks, That's a good deal with current exchange rate

  18. I'm sitting at four weeks and counting with standard delivery, you can be very lucky or very unlucky like myself with standard delivery although for £6.50 you can't fault it as that is cheaper than some local bike online shop couriers I have however heard of people ordering Monday and receiving Friday! I wish
  19. I like the Würth ones.. I believe cheaper than parktool and there is a store in Randburg
