  1. Are you implying something here I'm also upset with you so don't think you're off the hook either
  2. And from now on I'm the only DD around... Nancy, you will just have to stay Nancy from now on, I REFUSE to share initials and names with such a poofter Thanks guys for making me work so hard and thanks for the fantastic ride, I really enjoyed those mean boytjies....certainly need more of them!!
  3. How dare you take my status away from me
  4. You sure about that WW? I think everyine is going to be under cover tomorrow. Just wait till you see Trubie decked out in skiing outfit looking like he's doing the first Antacrtic bike ride ever. He looks seriously Ninja with all his winter kit. (Plus he's a big dude' date=' so if I don't make it tomorrow, know that he did me in en route and dumped the body.)[/quote'] Ha ha ha...was just thinking will more likely be the Oros Lady with our colouring
  5. So Nanosec Nialls will be a Ninja and I'll be the Mitchelin Man with all my layers!!
  6. She's a beaut Thug.... When do I get to see her upclose and personal
  7. I love that everyone is competing for man/woman holding up the rest of the group? but you gotta trust me on this tazman' date=' I?ll be the slowcoach in this group? nice try though, nifty excuses On a more serious note, I am actually keen on joining the ride, if for no other reason, to test my upgraded bike. The cold is scaring me, but I?m a tuff south chicky so I think I can handle it. The distance is a concern to me because although I have been riding, I haven?t spent more than 2 and a half hours in the saddle since Sani2C. The last time I rode further than 50 kays was in Feb. I?ll start with you guys and if I feel it necessary I?ll just cut my ride shorter. Fortunately I know the area well enough to do so. PS: I have it on good authority that you can add Joe Low to the list and possibly David#7 [/quote'] Nancy, you better be there....If I'm surviving 150kms there's no way I'm racing it....so don't stress, you go your pace and we will wait at the top of the hills. This weather is scaring me as well, but don't let anyone else know that, I have to keep my tough reputation up Will be great to have Joe Low and David with us Tomorrow is going to be good fun
  8. This day is just frikken dragging....AAAAAAAAARRRRRGGGGHHHHH!!! I wanna go home
  9. The good thing is that this area is warmer than where we normally ride anyday....so good day to choose to ride West. Slave, I hope you don't mind us dumping some extra clothes in your car once we arrive at Riverstone.
  10. I find it so hilarious....I'm on the MTB, in my club kit...everyone in my area knows I'm the only one there that wears that kit and I know them, yet they don't wave. Same kit, different bike, they wave
  11. Looks like the same person in these pics. Hey Holy, at least I'm not stupid enough to get photo's taken
  12. Cough who hit the pavement Cough Cough MineDump Cough Im in if its local and cheap You jinxed me that day again...you should see the classic wipe out i did on sunday...this WW learnt to fly... Besides, difference is I've been riding for 6 months...HR has been on the MTb for ...I won't say, will give his age away
  13. And who suffers in the end...the kids because mommy's too self centred and is either working or training!!! How many stunning looking females you see at the gym who teach classes and then you see their child...overweight. Why, because mommy is too focussed on herself and just gives child sweets instead of love and attention.
  14. Honestly, I'm jealous, wish i could join them!! Think most of the guys are jealous as well, hence the comments. Roer, you're getting waaayyy too worked up over nothing here!! Personally I love having my hubby for backup...is great!!
  15. From what I've seen 90% of the married ladies with kids wouldn't ride if their hubbies never so in truth it's hubbies sport that they're just following. Real cycling females don't have children!! Who's prepared to give up nine months of being on a bike...damn, I'd kill someone. So unfortunately I work like any human being, ride in the dark in the mornings and long ones over weekends.
  16. WW was going to tempt Thug and then realised it was winter and thought "forget it" But yip, I'm keen to join you guys on the long one, just wait for me at the top of the hills
  17. Ox, you originally said 80kms, so you can remove it if you want or we just see how everyone feels.
  18. I might just take you up on that offer, need to see if I'll survive the Jock You leaving from your house?? What time??
  19. Yippee, this is sounding more and more like the ride I need 7am Riverstone, still need to find out where that is. 110km hillyish ride. With some lunatics....sounds fantastic
  20. Will be good to see you again Thuglin And no.one.knows....I wonder if the accent has changed
  21. I say we make it 7:00
  22. I'm keen on IanJ's route
