Great thread, very informative. I found a Sprada Future on sale at Makro last week. Got the last one at significant discount (but still pretty expensive, relatively speaking). What a great machine, so far anyway.

Some Sunday afternoon fun at Tranquilitas.

I joined the 1 x 9 club (yes, I'm several years late to the party ) - Just had my new Raceface 30t NW chainring installed at Singletrack cycles yesterday. Running it with a 11-34 XT casette, XT derailleur and LX shifter. Went for a decent ride today. So far so good!

Picked up a set of OnOne Smorgasbord Trail Extreme tyres from Ryanpmb recently. So far I am overly impressed. This might just be my new tyre of choice. Be sure to keep some stock Ryan!

Mine's not on the list either - OnOne Smorgasbord Trail Extreme. If you're looking for a tough, well gripping fit-and-forget tyre, this is right up there. I'm sold (thanks Ryanpmb!)

Another nice ride at Tranquilitas MTB Trails a few days ago.

Been through a few bike shops with less than satisfactory results, until I stumbled across (into?) Singletrack Cycles in Lynnwood (Silver Lakes). Gotta give credit where credit is due: Barend and his team have been extremely helpful in sourcing the required parts on several occasions over the past few weeks. I'm also a poor GT rider (as mentioned previously in this thread). Nevertheless, this made no difference to the level of service. Barend took the time to discuss options, give advice and so forth. When I am ready to take the plunge on a new steed, I know where to go.
