  1. That is the one that i have. it is the spring just below the bolt on the left hand side that catches on the swing arm not alowing it to be mounted any lower. i am now also thinking that the E-type will have the same problem with the spring. the previous derailleur used was the Sram x-7 by the old owner, FWIW
  2. The swing arm is in the way so i am unable to lower the derailleur any more than what it is. it is a bottom swing derailleur so the only alternative then is to get an E-type derailleur then and hope for the best.
  3. Hi all. the front derailleur that have at the moment seems to be to short on the cage length. when on the small front chain ring the chain rubs the link which supports the side walls, only when i change to the largest 3 cogs on the rear does it clear the derailleur. it looks like i should have a longer cage or arm on the derailleur to allow for the use of the smaller rear cogs. can this be extended or is there a range of shimano that covers this.
  4. Just received my first order through them and the experience was 100+% will deal with them again
  5. How long is acceptable to wait for a refund after being told that one will be done?? online orders are all cash on order placement and shipping will only take place once money is in their account. why does it take longer to get your money back??
  6. Cool i will be visiting them and maybe changing from fourways to little falls.
  7. Thanks, any issues buying from them??

  9. When i saw it i decided that i would do it even if i landed on my ass. yes i road it and it felt great coming over the top. I started A5, i rode 54.6Km on endo so please leave me results alone. each rider knows if they did the distance or not. just dont brag that you did 2H30 for your 55km when you did not do the distance that just sucks. if you went wrong blame the organisers not your fellow riders. its a tough one when you are comparing yourself against others when things like this happen.
  10. Wow from your times i am assamed to put my up. 4h02 for the 55km. the hills killed me.
  11. thanks guys. if A is the top guys what is A5. i thought it goes Z AA etc. my form says start time is 7:40
  12. where do i find my group. i down loaded my form telling me what time i start but i dont see a group. i start at 7:40
  13. any lbs will bleed them for you.
  14. Hi all. I Have set my brake levers for 1 finger brakeing. the shifter is now far away from my thumb. sould i remove the indicator and place the shifter on the grip side of the brake lever for easier shifting? can this be done?
  15. I am looking forward to the ride. this will be my second ride past 30Km. going to have to take the first half real slow.
  16. Hi guys. the brake pull feels spongy. i have adjusted the brake pull and when you hit the maximum force to pull the lever so that it does not move anymore the wheel still does not lock.
  17. Hi All. i have the shimano BR-M575 brake levers. my problem is that i can pull the rear brake to maximum force without it locking the wheel, the front brake locks the wheel real quick. you can feel the lack of preasure when you pull both levers at the same time. i have blead the brakes and had 2 LBS bleed the brakes and this issue still remains. what could be a problem?, should i look at changing the brake levers? brake pads? or calipers? or the complete system? what would be a good brake system to look at? i am not stuck on Shimano so any would be ok if it came to that. thanks.
  18. HI All. thanks to the sweep vehicle. by 42Km i could not go anymore. i took 3 falls on the course, i am still sore. for my frst long ride it was an eye opener. thanks to the organisers for there help. Errol.
