Hi Armpies, I struggle to get out of bronze status but as far as I know I have done all my assessments online? Confused as to how you say its easy to get to Gold. I am on livingvitality as well so upload all garmin workouts, non smoker declarations etc, Is their a page somewhere that advises on how to get there quicker? (I presume you are a broker or deal with it?)

This is one of the main reasons motorists hate cyclists, I lost count of the amount of rules you broke here! Rather shoot yourself now and get off the roads than wait to be hit and then rant about the motorists who don't see cyclists! It seems, like most things in life, there are a few who spoil it for the masses! In Cape Town we are fighting hard to become more bike friendly and slowly we are getting there, 1 metre rule, bike lanes etc but behaviour and riding like this gets us nowhere and WILL get you into hospital! Just my 2c, Use it Don't use it!

In the new South Africa, more than likely yes, they will put you in jail, you will get bail, but it aint pleasant! Ask me I know! Had an intruder in my house, hit him with a cast Iron Skillet, put him in my boot and took him to the police station, laid charge etc etc blah blah! 04h00 the next morning 9 armed police officers arrested me for assault with intent. Spent 9 hours in a cell before I got released, no charges of course but Boet, it is not a chance you want to take! You as a previously advantaged individual shoot a previously disadvantaged individual, the odds are stacked against you until you can get representation!

My 2cents worth! If you shoot him you will be arrested!! You will spend time in jail before you get bail, You stand a chance of being molested in jail, you will be charged, you will spend a fortune on legal fees, it will change your life forever no matter the outcome! That's how it works in SA! IF I am not mistaken no-one has been killed for their bike yet! I don't think the risk of the above is worth it! If he pushed me off my bike and I judge Mace isn't worth it let him take the bike, its a material object (I know they are expensive and it will take a while to replace but the repercussions of shooting him are far too big) On the other hand, He gets your gun, shoots you or uses it to shoot someone else you are in even more K*K!! As much as we want to I don't think its worth it!
