  1. Would be nice but doubt he would go back to them. Edit: rode with him at the 94.7 last year and he was very happy where he was
  2. I like the look of this team! For a Pro-Conti outfit they have some class riders.
  3. R6k landed from XMiPlay, speak to Peter Que. They have quite a waiting period for frames though if you're after that too.
  4. Cool, that's definitely a fair reason...but you'll probably struggle to for R8k, my 38/50 combo landed last week for a fair amount less than that. Also with novatec hubs, carbon braking surface and Ti skewers. Good luck!
  5. Great stuff! Dennis (Denny Menchov), what a man!
  6. Awesome Gerald! Came 3rd last year...hopefully the same again was good fun!
  7. Yeah, you never know hey... Like latrinus said, looking for all types. Maybe you should post your picture too, they might be looking for a snarky little troll.
  8. It was good fun! The 50-60km/h winds made racing interesting, but all in all a lekker weekend in that dorpie.
  9. Hubbers are a shy bunch...
  10. *Fixed ...you know... in case this thread gains traction, other sponsors might be upset.
  11. I'm not sure what being 73 or having a knee operation have to do with the scenario either...it's great that he completed the distance at his age and after a op but it also has nothing to do with it. Unless you are pushing for them to change the rules to cater for older and/or previously injured persons...but that could get very complex. I'm with Argus on this one.
  12. I agree..."your time" is on your watch/computer and "official result" is on Racetec which requires you finishing in under 7 hours.
  13. Didn't he ask it before Meezo said it was from 2 years ago? EDIT: Thats how i read it atleast...
  14. ...and Stefan de Bod is a young demon! I remember last year at 1 of the Summer races him breaking off the front of the Elites and solo'ing to victory by a good chunk of minutes this was while he was still 17. Think it was Bouckaert-Soenen but stand to be corrected.
  15. I went and did a bit of research around all of this for my new 1X10 build and i will post a short review once she's up and running, but decided to go for the short cage Zee with wide reach and the new Hope NW Retainer ring. Haven't heard of anybody down here running the new Hope rings but looks to be the bees knees with much more of a distinct narrow-wide tooth pattern...also slightly lighter than the rest Oh and ordered it all from CRC...got an amazing deal on the Zee so should be arriving next week sometime
  16. Neptune, pop me a pm too. I will be out at the Lights by Linea race this Saturday in Paarl and have a bunch of stuff for you too.
  17. Do you have any more details about this? Attached together as in recently stolen together or dumped together? I'm asking because I had my Merida stolen a little while ago and wondering if there is any chance???
  18. Wheels look good! Apart from the stickers of course...you would think that if they were going to try imitate a brand as popular as Zipp they would get the designs a little closer to the real thing.
  19. Personally i'm hoping the stickers aren't for the wheels and are to rather put elsewhere...like 1 on the back of his laptop and 1 on the bumper of his car and 1 on the fridge...because we all know it isn't cool to put Zipp stickers on non-Zipp wheels!
  20. Why would you get the Zipp stickers?
  21. JGR, it's high fat OR high carbs...not both at the same time!
  22. You can always check this 1 out. http://www.sportsworld.co.za/product.php?id_product=537
