  4. What an amazing nice/tuff race this is!!! Scenery absolutely amazing, just sad that I had a bug that kept me from finishing. Thanks for the advice on the bug Hill and Kevin is just a very cool ou! All and and all, Farmer Shrek (Rob Hater), kudos to you and your team, not the Kudus with the horns! This is a race not to take lightly!!! Hope to be back next year.... Unfinished bussiness! O,did team Racing Turtels make it?
  5. Mmmm, so if I ask you to be my partner next year for an event here in my home town, it would not be a problem? Ok good, youre booked for Gravel and Grape next year and I will make sure that you will have enough Grape "juice" to drink and lekke trails to ride!!! Cant wait....
  6. Need 3 badges, but with griep not leaving me I will propably not get them!
  7. Tooooo expensive!!! There was a 3 day stage race now in April in Worcster and entry for the team at R4 400.00, half of this one, with lots and lots of single track. Thanks, but no thanks......
  8. The Link and Velo looks like a nice cycling edition. Only problem I can see is that you will have to mount your phone on your handlebar to see your HR! That mounts never keep the phone steady or even breaks.
  9. When I started cycling 6 years ago, Kevin was my idol in cycling and he will always be! Good luck with your goals and plans for the future!
  10. Even after the meeting with the buffalo????
  11. O, and if I dont win, who will ask me to be there partner?

  16. I do agree with you, but begging hard enough aint working. Up for my third Epic and dont think there will be any help from no where. Who is those two companies you are refering to???
  17. Still need to travel overseas though, and thats not cheap at all.....
  18. Some people spend that kind of money on holidays 2 times a year. I will spend that kind of money every 2/3 years on the Epic! Did it twice and doesnt matter what anybody says, but the Epic gets under your skin once you have ridden it.
  20. Dont know wich what that part of the route is called, but on our way back on that nice long downhill, think Wynberg, somebody fell! He fell pretty bad. I just saw his bottles and bike skid over the road and saw him just lying motionless on the tar. Some other rider confirmed that he hit the barrier. It did not look good at that time and was thinking of this person the whole day and how he is doing! So, does anybody know or seen this?
  21. I'm also gonna stop at every WP and enjoy the snacks I dont usually get time for!
  22. Well, now Im not gonna go to bed early. I will be having a few more bottles of wine and then a few more bottles in the hotel. Then I wil wake up with n moerse babbalas. Do the 47km in n swirwing way to make op for the other 62k's. Stop for breakfast at the turning point and hope the wind pumps on my way back to make me struggle even more. So yes, its sad, but cycle I will cycle!
  23. Well, 2013 we rode im Citrusdal in burned down areas, so prologue can go on! Just some of the harsh elements of the Epic. Heard on the radio that Houwhoek is also burning badly. Prologue and stage one and two of the Epic will be hot, ashy and bedompig! Looking forward to Argus weekend, no matter what route they throw at us, its about spending time with family this time round. O, and some sushi buffet Sat afternoon at Sake in Sable Square..... Who's joining???
