    I am considering it, go back to XX grip shift. What chainring would you recommend.... I was also looking at the 11 speed XTR cassette (because it is cheaper), but the 11-40 is just not enough range for one ring and the riding I do.

    I am in the process of replacing chain, cassette, chainring on XX1 and it is damn expensive vs XX (using XT cassette and XT Chain). Any other worth while options that I can consider to make the maintenance cost cheaper on the 1x11 setup (wolftooth, XG1180 cassette, KMC chain)? I bought the bike second hand and the parts were already worn, original owner did not change the chain, so it was unfortunately to late for just a chain swop. Can any of you XX1 riders give me a prediction on the lifespan of an XX1 cassette if I do a regular chain swap?

    they will be stupid not to race, this will be equal to ten years prize money for most pros!

    then ask not to be named....if you want to get the other bike brands involved and contributing and to stop ambush marketing, make it a level playing field...

    make it a a brand free zone and put up a thank you board at the entrance with all the names and logos of companies contributing to the fund. maybe that is a way to get more bike brands to give money so that people have a place to use their products!

    Anybody has experience wit the new range from Magura. Lozed my old Louise BAT set and want to replace my Elixir CR's. either Magura, hope or Shimano.

    Saw a few guys at the Burry memorial ride in Stellies as well without helmets. The guys were a group of about 5 and they seem to think they are TdF contenders with the gear they were riding...Scott bikes and caps. You could see that these guys are keen cyclists so I can only imagine that they think not wearing a helmet makes them cooler and better than other cyclist...poepholle! and this after they asked all cyclists to please wear helmets...

    Any more updates from people using these?? Looking at getting a set but also worried about broken spokes and stiffness issues? Can these be used for everyday training?
