  1. I chose UK and USA. You get some free countries thrown in there too. Germany is one of them and it works for RedBull. 😁
  2. I subscribed to GCN+ but most big races and grand tours can’t be viewed in South Africa, only highlights. I use Windscribe ($3 per month) as VPN to watch those races live.
  3. Mariske posted a story today with Jolanda. Went for a ride. 🤔🤔
  4. Yup. It’s part of the fun for us as fans.
  5. Rola has been on board for those two and Candice for a while. Wonder if they will be Strauss’ main sponsor now?
  6. Bought myself and the BF an early Christmas present. GCN+ yearly subscription. Using Windscribe VPN to connect via UK. Now we can watch all the CX action. Especially today in the snow. 😁❄️
  7. She went for it at least, but didn’t perform.
  8. She announced on 31 Oct that she is leaving Bart’s team, ready for something new. 🤔 Wonder what’s coming up?
  9. Also did same. Coached by Pierre Nel. The key is higher intensity. Even on weekends he scheduled 3 hours, but I had to include technical climbs and attack them. I train mainly for XCO, but was able to maintain endurance in the legs even on the “real queen stage” in Wellington. Fatigue only really set in on day 8, but the legs woke up somewhere during that stage. This was my first stage race longer than 2 days. Rode well over 7 hours on some days. As a female rider, on a hardtail, I don’t feel too bad about that.
  10. New tyres. Ardent Race & Aspen. Fitted the Sroad cassette and KMC Black Tech chain. Got the cassette from Amazon. Arrived within a week. Csixx cage fitted to the derailleur a few weeks ago. Gave tired derailleur some new life. ????????
  11. Sroad rainbow cassette. ???? 380g. Good reviews on longevity and shifting performance.
  12. This is definitely one of the toughest, yet enjoyable. It has quite a few rocky climbs and one called the snakebite in the middle, which also has a very technical downhill. Big rocks... I rode with 2 litres of fluids. Prepare for a hot, dry day out. Here is the gpx file from 2020. Trailseeker_Van_Gaalen.gpx
  13. My derailleur was a bit tired and stretched. Got one of the release batches. Fitted and the tension adjustment works perfectly. ????

  19. Hi guys I have XO1 on my bike and my cassette needs to be replaced soon. Sunrace wears too quickly and even E13 is still a bit steep in price. To save maintenance costs I want to change to a SLX cassette. Rear hub is Rapide and can easily be changed to Microspline. I’ve read that the shifting ratios are the same, but that the chains are different. I’ve got a Rapide chainring. What chain would work best? Would a Sram/KMC not work so well on the Shimano cassette? Is a Shimano chain and Rapide chainring compatible?
