  1. How's chain length? Is it measured correctly, ie with suspension in sag position?
  2. Had the pleasure to work with Shawn a bit, very passionate, particularly about product quality.....
  3. I got tired of unblocking with a paper clip 😁 Done about 12-15 rides on Enduro Wax and no build up worthy of mention and quiet, quiet, quiet.
  4. I just ditched Squirt for Enduro Wax. Tired of scraping off RD pulleys and blocked Squirt nozzles - just me personally, not the same Squirt I started with.
  5. I second that
  6. I was a loyal Squirt user for 10+ years. I've just started on my Enduro Wax journey and after a few hundred km on each of my MTB and Roadbike I'm very happy. Both drivetrains are quieter, my Eagle GX with new XX1 chain and GX cassette has stopped missing that one particular gear shift and shift cleanly. Plus - I no longer have to lube every couple of rides and NO buildup on my jockey wheels (my cassettes are also way cleaner). Excellent product! Love the Enduro Seal also!
  7. I'm particularly anal about bike noises (to my detriment), and chase any noise or creak till it's solved. As an aside, my previous LBS once told me all MTB's make some creaks due to the suspension.....just cos he couldn't be bothered to do it right... Ok, on my roadbike I chased endless crank creaks, usually just before pedal stroke ie around 1:00 o clock, especially worse when it's cold, up a steep climb early in the ride. The creak would annoyingly move from left to right at random. I'd religiously do a crank lube service and for a ride or 2 it would appear better, but it always came back. Anyway, my 10 year old Lake carbon shoes needed replacing after gluing the 3 soles back together for a 3rd time.....noise gone. It was my shoes.....🤭
  8. Courier Guy, Pudo every day.
  9. Fantastic. I doubt very much that the runners organisers did that because in their last FB comment to me they were in flat denial. I took it up with the Cradle authority,/management - in this case Cebisa, even though a guy called Glen apparently looks after things so I'm guessing they passed it onto the litter collectors/grass cutters. Thank you for the update, it was a horrible thing to see.
  10. Howdy. I ride Ultegra 10 SP on my road bike and am looking at replacing chainrings (53:39), potentially going with a replacement used crankset. I see a lot more 11sp cranksets for sale used, would they be compatible or do I have to replace like for like. Cheers
  11. I commented on Runners for Hope press release on their FB page and got spinn and denial, saying they sent people to check and that the rubbish would have dispersed by now and it's other runners....cr@p. I've raised it with the officials that look after matters government in the Cradle and my idea of a pre-event deposit was well received.....hopefully they just apply SOME pressure in future.
  12. Just checking back in..... If they had weight to spare who wouldn't love to lose 30kg? Since end Jan, as if this morning I'd lost 27.1kg. Every morning I actually look forward to stepping on the scale. Some days I put on a few hundred grams but I know I'm doing the hard yards and it's going to come off. Keto, 18:6 IF, getting by on 2/3 to o 1/2 required calories and fasted rides on salted water only. Since I started I have not cheated and not had one breakfast.... One day I mistakenly had a Wimpy coffee which is heavy on the milk, before 12:00 and that's the closest I've come to breaking ranks.... My wife and son have since joined me and collectively we are minus 40kg. My wife does zero excercise and has lost 8kg in less than 2 months.... Onward and downward ...
  13. Unfortunately Runners Of Hope are less than honest in their statement. Still there this morning.
  14. Thank you for posting this. Litter was still there a week ago. I saw it too. I acknowledge some cyclists drop grl wrappers but some of these runners and their teams are really bad at littering.
  15. I've just switched to the Enduro version of wax. First ride today was good. I was a huge fan of Squirt for plenty years but of late am not too excited to use it - I've had the small nozzle keep getting blocked and found heavy buildup on my RD pulleys
  16. Lekker, thank you!
  17. Thanks that what I've done. It's quite a hard wax if you're used to the candle (non chain lube) type 😀
  18. Looks like there is XC this weekend, does anybody have the transmission times?
  19. I've just cleaned and treated my new chain to the Enduro wax.....once it's drip dried it feels quite dry ...and stiff but it loosens as you work it a bit. I thought you had to let the was cool a bit before removing the chain but it seems you just drip dry it?
  20. It was all a dream. My faith in humanity restored until the next time....😀
  21. Nope. All above board. Even sent pic of car and reg no before.
  22. Turns out he was legit and we did an honest deal. Met at local SAPS and all good. It's good to be cautious though. I originally had item at 800 but he didn't notice I'd dropped to 500 and was fully prepared to pay original price, but a Hubber must stick to an honest deal.
  23. Turns out it looks like he's legit.
  24. ....I'm selling something, he says he's in Mozambique but if I give him my no his friend can arrange. Should I name?
