thanks again all i actually bought this bike as it is a kilo lighter than my RC7000( on the left ) and the frame is bigger as i am 1.85m tall. hoping to get a better Argus time next year.

hi all I recently purchased a cannondale from a buddy which just says CAAD on it. i know that CAAD is now somewhere in CAAD 10. Maybe this sounds silly i am trying to determine the age of the bike. I'm not unhappy about my purchase it is a nice bike. in the pic its the black bike on the right. thanks for your assistance :-)

quite smoking last week Friday ! did a 6hr argus last year and i think about it all the time, but, that's not the true motivation for giving up, just hope i can hold up. Cravings are there but in mild 'flashes'. next argus i really wanna go B@lls to the wall !

I cycle cause....... 1. I get outta the house ( i so hate being a couch potatoe ) 2. I like the sound the tyres makes against the tarmac ( doesnt happen in a car or on a MTB which sounds like a dirty washing machine ) 3. I enjoy pushing the limits ( found out i have very low limits as a rookie ) 4. I enjoy the view 5. after i climb a hill , a nice long hill , i know there is gonna be a long downhill after and i love the idea of breaking/approaching the speed limit of cars with a bicycle it feels awesome when drivers look at their speedo and then you lol 6. etc this is some of the reasons why i cycle

@ Ryinc thanks man that was very helpfull I could never get that answer from google. Lol my top end is maybe limited coming down suikerbossie the beast speed I achieved was 69km/h maybe I need a smaller gear ? @ Eugene i bought the bike with that setup and it works but there is play in the cassette almost like I need to shift twice to get from the smallest gear to the second smallest gear

i honestly think drunk drivers should be hung from a light pole( not by their neck) with a big sign on them saying " i am looser " but that wont happen !! so next best thing they should be held accountable, they should realise the seriousness of their actions and they should be charged with Murder( if they killed someone) !!! there are enough campaigns about not drinking and driving, there has been enough deaths. you saying im being biased im saying i am speaking out of experience !!! if this guy is charged with murder sent to prison and bum raped im pretty sure his friends would NOT drink and drive !

@Neutral thinking your brain is clearly in neutral and does have any drive function! i was in three car accidents and in all three i was hit by a drunk driver, i have no sympathy for these A$$es further i have a few things to say to you ! 1. for someone to come out of the blue, onto an old post an suddenly have this huge opinion, clearly means you have a relation to the drunken fool or you are the fool himself! 2. i just took up cycling and reading this makes me very scared, its not the part that someone got knocked down, its the part that someone got knocked down by a drunk driver and there is still this ghost trying to defend it !!!! 3. if it was a loved one in relation to you that was killed would you be able to still have the same Neutral thinking ??? i really dont think so. 4. you have some Eiers to come onto this forum il give you that , but over the net we all are extremly well mastered in Keyboard Kung FU i dont wish ill on people but i think you should take up cycling ....
