  1. First one. And won't be the last. But next time I'm hiring a campervan and the wife has kindly offered to drive it. That packing and unpacking of bags and the snorers killed me in the tents. Yeah the costs are enormous, but the sheer enjoyment was well worth it. The event was magnificent.
  2. It was a spectacular event. The trails was amazing, mount Paul, the Umko drop, great wall my china, Harrisons pass and bezuidenhouts pass. The presentations every evening was filled with humor and good vibes. Awesome riders and characters. Any mountain biker looking for a proper long distance stage race should have this on their bucket list Will be back to do this again
  3. I did the double. Mtb 60k in 2h22 and Road 109k in 2h56. Only gripe on the mtb route was the guys working on the railway line and blocked the whole path. Work must go on. Road route. Flat and fast. Despite trying to, we could not break the bunch. Other gripe was lack of shade at the end. But will be back next year
  4. Why do some friends on the app have an inner purple circle? What's it for?
  5. Did a lap on the mtb yesterday. Got 78.1km/hr by freewheeling. I can't turn pedals that fast with my 34 oval ring. What concerned me and the group that were riding is that we got no receipt on entry for our R25 x 20 riders. Im sure most of it gets pocketed Sent from my MHA-L29 using Tapatalk
  6. If you zoom in, you can see the chain going under his chainring. So he pedals normally Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk

  8. Try it on one laptop. You can uninstall it if it's not suitable. When you say browser, are you going to these tv websites which have a whole lot of popups and undesirable ads. With kodi all of that is circumvented. With the Exodus Addon in kodi you stream series and movies. No need to download and look for hard drive space. My kids have watched all current Disney series already. 2 years ahead of what dstv is showing Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  9. Install Kodi on you laptop. Nothing else needed. Stream the series and movies via hdmi to the tvs. Sorted. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  10. To the guys that were comparing number of sub 3's over the past 3 years. Did you normalise your data? 2016 route was slightly shorter. Most people were measuring about 92.5ish km. Call it 1.5 km which is about 3 min at 30km/hr and less climbing I think by about 80m. So if the data is normalised you will have less sub 3's this year. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  11. I take comfort in knowing I will never sub 3 the 94.7 because I climb like a sprinter. My legs go wonky on gradients of 5% and above. I'm 83kg. Lean muscles, 281w ftp but I just can't climb. Sub 3'd all the other flattish races including Tour Durban because my strength is in the flats. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  12. All series and movies should be on exodus. Setup a free trakt manager account to save your collections. It is worthwhile setting up a paid realdebrid downloader account and link it in kodi. Your exodus feed goes through the downloader. You get more links per episode. Live sports, news, UK and US channels can be had on addon like sportsdevil, castaway, filmon, phoenix and zemtv.com. I particularly like the zemtv.com addon for sports. Links are updated regularly. There are some TV guides like ftv. Your Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  13. I also got 300 points for the Bela Bela 5150. I laughed a bit. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  14. I've been off dstv for 5 months now. Upgraded my capped 4meg adsl to Telkoms uncapped LTE. Now I can stream 1080p and 4k off youtube. Kodi and youtube works well. Wife loves her HGTV shows. Found plenty off them on YouTube. Added them to play list. Sorted. Kids have exodus to watch all there Disney shows. Mmm. They've watched all the new stuff. Dstv still repeating the stuff from years ago. Get my fix of live sports with no problems. And discovery channels etc. Overall saving is like R800 per month. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  15. Which cycling stream u using? I am on Telkom LTE. What a pleasure. Stream YouTube at 4k. Streams on multiple tvs at the same time no problem. Getting Euro 2016 on kodi dc sports. Buffers but is server side problem. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  16. Help guys. How do I force garmin connect to sync to discovery. Last sync was at 20:12 last night. But I got in a 30+ min vigorous run after that was synced to garmin connect at about 21:30. I am fasting so getting in my normal 2 hour+ rides is difficult. My target is 1000 points. I am on 600 for the week. The vigorous 30+ min run should give me another 300 pts. Will fill in a gym swipe to make up the last 100 pts. Sent from my SM-N910C using Tapatalk
  17. I see. Age 40. So scored 78.9% of max. Should have just rode for 10 min more.
  18. Yeah. Will pop in later. But then still 100 points short. Which means I need to get a 300 pt session in today somehow. 30 min vigorous exercise
  19. Got in an 80 min ride yesterday. Average heart rate 142. Measured on a Fenix 3. Discovery only gave me 100 pts for speed data only. Now I'm 200 points short of 900 target for this week . What do I do?
  20. Came to specialized concept store for some things. This is soon to be launched
  21. I've bought 4 kits for 2 bikes. I only have 1 puncture repair tool left. The rest fell out. Flimsy thread and can't get decent fit to bars. I found it only fits well the first time or 2. Then they get loose
  22. I need to make up 900 points by Friday. Problem is I am Fasting. So little time to do anything. Looking to squeeze in 3 30 minute high intensity idt sessions after 9 at night. Eish
  23. I got 100 points for my 6h55 maluti effort. Will never ever forget my HR monitor again
