  3. Contrary to popular belief, removing seals, cleaning bearings and greasing them is hardly ever successful. The balls pit as well as the race they run on.
  4. If you are going to spend a lot of time offroad and mud etc..... go as wide as you can.
  5. I measured them with a vernier, and they measure 41 mm Also my rims are a bit wider. They looked wider to me than the 40mm Conti's I took off, and the vernier confirmed.
  6. As a side note, thick sand will always be an immense challenge for a gravel bike tyre.
  7. I have the 40 mm Pirelli’s on my gravel bike. I like the 40’s as they are great for a bit of everything. They may not look it, but they are quite capable on the dirt.
  8. It’s always amusing how people tend to push others to breaking point, and then retaliate by playing the victim and demonizing the very same person they continually antagonized.

I sincerely hope that any of his friends, who might see this thread or anywhere on the multiple socials, do right by him and the victim by releasing his information to he SAPS.
  15. Taken on an overcast and gloomy morning at Cape Vidal. Morning all.
  16. You ares right though, but I think it goes much deeper and further than that . Most people nowadays have social media and use it for attention whoring . The issue at hand is that Mr. or Mrs. lard@$$ might have done sport at school or even worse never done anything physical. Now they have cross fit, a disciple where you can come across as a mean physical specimen . What makes it even more appealing is that you can attention whore around it on various social media platforms . It's an image driven sport IMHO and cannot be sustained in to old age .
