  1. Yeah and he didn't need 500mm's travel to do it either
  2. Hope it comes with a can of petrol so that you can set it on fire.
  3. It's one of the "Shreddit" boxes to tick. Similar to a scandi-flick, it doesn't make you faster, just makes you look fast (because, to be fair, you have to be hauling ass to make them look good).
  4. Dear Thor Have you tried spraying some colloidal silver on the affected area? Hug hug kiss hug Agony Aunt
  5. I suspect the Hangar in Somerset West do DMR.
  6. My 2016 Enduro 29 is at 67.5 degrees. The new SC Hightower is 67 degrees. I really don't see what everyone else is seeing, hence me asking what the hell is everyone riding for those numbers to be considered steep.
  7. I'm more blown away by the fact that a 67.5 degree HTA is somehow seen as archaic. Do 99% op mtbers actually just ride Alpine steeps or what am I missing here?
  8. My favourite comment is the one lamenting the steep head angle...of 67.5 degrees. Uhm, ok...
  9. Bit of a poef review
  10. Uhm, nope.
  11. I could never get my head around the Mojo frames. The cross strut makes the fork look skinny and the whole bike unbalanced.
  12. Hey MOngooser I heard you like e-bikes and 29'ers. If you don't reply it's true...
  13. That's gonna make bike prices look like end of season sales! But it's the best money you can spend!
  14. Excuses for e-bikes are becoming more diluted than your average Homeopathic Remedy.
  15. Yeah I can get behind a full on DH bike with shuttle assist motor for places like SA. But don't give me some spiel about a Trail bike that's perfectly pedal-friendly but for the fact that you slapped a 10kg adaptation on to it...to now help you pedal it up.
  16. Those guys are straaaaaaange. Seth is rad, but Alex and this BKXC guy...it's weird seeing a group ride with everyone in it talking into their cameras for their "viewers".
  17. Whatever. It's horseshit.
  18. Serious question now: Why is this not a mountain bike? But this is:
  19. Little birdy told me the new Butcher 2.6 Grid with Gripton compound will be hitting shops very soon at about R800. Reckon that'll be replacing my Minion DHF 2.3 on the front, and keep that as back up.
  20. As soon as my frame warranty lapses I reckon it'll get a Bogus treatment.
  21. Just leaving this here without comment... https://www.bikehub.co.za/classifieds/271710-specialized-levo-comp-upgraded-derestricted/
  22. " 2nd Place: Huck Norris ($69.99 USD) - The People’s ChampWhy The People's Champ? Simple. Ease of use, protects the rim well, it's the lightest of the inserts, and it's also the cheapest. So why isn't it sitting in the number one spot? There are several reasons, but the biggest was it doesn't add that damped feeling we got with both the Flat Tire Defender and CushCore systems." http://www.vitalmtb.com/features/Vital-MTB-Face-Off-The-Best-Tire-Insert-Systems,1841
  23. Does the FOAMO add damping? Was under the impression only the Flat TireDefender type inserts have that effect given how they are applied. In fact I'm pretty sure I watched a VItal insert shootout where the guy specifically said one of the downsides of the Huck Norris was the absence of that damping.
