  1. Roux- we could be looking at this from two different points of view. From your above post. Too much in the frame is not an issue. If its seat height then its a separate issue with bike fit, and saddle height. And i just thought of how out of context this whole debate could become, on a totally different subject
  2. Willehond, in retrospect you are actually correct, i retract that one should not call fellow cyclists w@nkers. I have learnt this by reading some of the repsonses, indeed there are cyclists who are w@nkers
  3. Jeez Biker Boy, you taking the weight saving to the next level eh? haha Give us some pics
  4. Jason- If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem, your attitude towards the situation speaks volumes about you, and i have not even met you. PS. dont call fellow cyclists W@nkers
  5. I honestly thought that this thread was dead and burried and am frankly not even going to re read the whole thing. As said already there is no sympathy for people who bring it upon themselves. Jeez, i always took the route there, know your limits. We are a sympathetic bunch actually, truly. We have had utmost symapthy for victims of hit and runs, bike jackings etc. stupidty however, afraid not
  6. I will offer a coke and a packet of chips.
  7. Each to thier own. I have a simple philosophy with cars- if it was not designed from the factory like that its not needed. Do you think they spent millions of DM on r&d for nothing. I can safely say i have not in any modified one of the cars i have driven expect for a towbar on a few
  8. imagine if that actually created downforce so sad to see a once awseome car butched like that.
  9. Kindly justify your response. I agree RS are good, in certain models only and simply average in others
  10. just seen your sig. That flippen song was stuck in my head the whole morning, and it does not get you up protea ridge any faster, promise
  11. you will admit that it DID get you up Krugersdorp hill faster, right? Not cool at all though
  12. with the current price of components and the way they are heading, you are right
  13. Dont think it would be fair call size just on height, i would say a L
  14. Hate to be the Kill joy here, but i was out there about 2 months ago, apparently they are expanding the driving range (who plays golf anyway??) and developing the rest of the land. I spoke to some guy at the clubhouse there. I must say, we do need to get some nice routes on this end of town.
  15. classy
  16. Interrogation till she cracks, Gauntanamo style. On a serious note, interrogate, and if you need professionals to do it, they exist, but cost a fair packet, just remeber, trust is broken, and if you are sure it was her, she will have to go one way or the other, so you may as well may it crack. Yes its cruel, and nasty, but you must ask it a fight worth fighting, I dont know
  17. I may add he intentionally seemed to get as close as possible as it was a wide road, no need for road space
  18. well, i was cycling a hill, and some chop clipped me with his mirror, i was really hugging to kurb so it was not as if i was in the lane, we pulled up to a robot at the top if the hill, where i proceeded to punt my heal into his door. In retrospect it was a friggin stupid idea, and i am very lucky he simply drove off and stopped, but when the red mist happens, mixed with the adrenelin, you can do mad $hit. This def the reason i ride off road. Not cool
  19. There is nothing wrong with SLX, it replaces LX as i understand in the long term, at the moment its above LX and below XT. I have SLX on the Giant, and its been hassle free and solid since new.
  20. wish i was in town for this one.
  21. i have actually seen a KTM Mtb on the back of a Corsa, me thinks it was worth more than the car
  22. too much nice way too much price I have no doubt it has a market albeit small
  23. Erm, correct, but then again we "toured" the spruit, was quite refreshing to stop for a bit and take in surroundings.. you know, dirty rivers, homeless folk and general rot. But on a serious note, it was quite nice to actually make a morning of it by stopping and chilling on the route. Called it relaxed not leg burner ride for a reason
  24. Yip, was an awesome ride, time in the saddle. You dont realise how much water you need this time of year. Thanks Agteros, We must plan another one in the new year. ND, you missed out on a cool ride
