Bought it in the beginning of December to ride the Argus with my boy. Got a call a few days later saying please don't ride it there is a problem with the fork. Spoke to the bike shop and then the agent who said that they're aware that a lot of guys have bought them for Argus and they'll do their best. Still trying to get a straight answer as the days are ticking by and my little fellow has not yet been past a 40 min ride and I need all the help I can get !! John

Any ideas when they are going to have replacement forks available ? John

A friend of mine drove straight over the middle of my Yellowsaddle built wheel lying on the ground last weekend while camping. (Chris King hub, ZTR Rims and DT revolution spokes) Luckily the ground was soft from the rain but the brake disk was pretzled and the skewer totally bent. Removed the disk and skewer and took it to BMC (in salt river). Kevin attended to it immediately. He whipped the axle out, took it to the lathe and used a surface gauge to determine that it was still straight (well, 0.02mm out which is spec). Checked the rest of the freewheel hub and other bits for damage, added a bit of grease and reassembled. A few tweaks with the spoke spanned and the wheel is good to go. Being a bit OCD, I am pretty concerned about who fiddles with my stuff but this was a seriously good experience. I'd certainly go back there. Oh, did i mention that the car was an Audi q5 and that they charged me R80 for the wheel true.

Morning Need to get 6 bikes on a small flat bed trailer. I know that holdfast does the front part that you attach to the fork (after removing the front wheel) but don't know where to get the frames that the front wheel then goes into. Any suggestions and potential pitfall warnings welcome. Tx John

Got a Niner in Dec 2008 with an XT wheelset. They do seem a bit floppy but the Bontragers were 29k at the time. I weigh 95kg's and need them for general riding and the odd multiday event. Suggestions please. Tx John
