well what would it mean? do you want to "create" your own team, full sponsorship, or would you sponsor individuals randomly, expecting them to advertise for you somehow eg. id ride for my club, but wear your companies shirt after every race

Hello there one of my friends got a free set of Alex rims DA22 wheels but instead of campy they have shimano free hub, how can i fix this?? anyone know where i could get a free hub body to replace that one?? thanks

also try to avoid it....generally the people dont have a cooking clue of what it means to ride licenced. they think its all fun and games and easy then eventually you get a "ah im sure youl make it to the tour de france...someday" remark, or they start talking about how awsome lance was ... haha the worst is when they ask to join in a ride

fully agree with that....and if there is acknowledgment for winning in the ladies section, it will probably draw more to become more serious, which will increase the number of participants etc etc and they could very easily just simply decrease the prize moneys for the males by even R50 per prize and they'd have enough for the ladies its rediculous

im going to have to change the tube diameters as the ones i planned with where oval, but i do know roughly what i want.....ill be building the fork aswell-integrated with the handlebars and in my understanding the triangle can be pretty small and apparently incease stiffness if smaller? not sure about that one

bumpetty bump.....is oval/aero tubing available in SA?? or would something like that ave to be imported.....TT bike should atleat be a little aerodynamic!!!

i think ill be using fillet brazing....and after im done, i think ill retire haha so much effort trying to source aero/oval tubing, hat price would i look at paying for a Chrmoly 4130 tubeset? (can you get them in oval/aero shapes?)

i must just somehow get this tubing .... anyone know places to get in gauteng (pretoria, open to anything though)?? any aircraft or motor racing places?? 1 last Q: wich one would be better , TIG welding or silver soldering?

im already in he process of building a jig ( my dad used to build frames for himself in the oldern days) , if i do it aluminium il be sure to get the good quality stuff, i dont want to end up breaking my neck cause of bad alu....on the welding side, i know someone that cold do the alu welding that has alot of professional experience, but if i do it in steel ill be using metering and silver soldering which my dad has worked with.. im quite fussy about little things so ill be sure to do everything 100% properly hanks for all that info though tarboy, will help me loads!! eclipse2009-08-29 03:59:00
