  1. I did the ride also. Had fun. But hell - those hills! I made contact with one of the local kids that did the ride in about the same time as myself. Got his contact details and all - He is willing to lead us along the route. :-)Bertus2009-11-02 06:22:08

  7. Hmmm.. "as the server will be moving to the registration from tomorrow morning." -does this mean there wont be another seeding run this week. Sure I know it counts for nothing but I'm curious to see!

  11. Just an idea - <?:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /><?:NAMESPACE PREFIX = O /> With the Argus being less than 20 Days away, shall we do this again? Many people has given their starting groups and times: We make this into a little competition between Hubbers based in the South and Hubbers based in the North? More challengers welcome ? or slot in with one of the two ?teams? We create two virtual teams made up out of ?actual hubbers? ? matching them one for one. For example: If the North<?:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /> enters Somebody riding in the A bunch the South match it with someone also entered in that bunch. It is open to all groups naturally. You just do your planned ride, provide your time in the week following the Argus and see if you beat your challenger. By doing so, one point is scored for your team. Then after the Argus, The North van admit to the province boys that we are the best! Simple! For fun - also provide your planned finish time!

Lurk... Ag kom nou Fanie. Doen altyd jou beste of bly by die huis!
  13. My biggest worry at this stage is getting there - I don't know the road... Anybody else leaving from Centurion? Directions please... Street names I can work with..
  14. Jissie, all of a sudden I'm not glad I'm gonna ride the race! Please compare with Suikerbossie or Ou Kaapse weg.. Something I can relate to.
  15. ahhh ****... is it part of the Telkom race?
  16. dalk's jy reg H - maar ek het nie juis probleme nie.
  17. Hy's oraait.. kraak nog... maar ek het darem gemanage om hom weer aanmekaar te kry.. bietjie olie op die hotelkamer se vloer gemors...
  18. SPOT on Gumpole.
  19. valid Point Mallo - but then again - I'm delighted with my seeding for Telkom - so no complaints there. And Valid point Popeye - a moerse lot of complaining - (you must have a lot of time to read all that cr@p though) END of the day - they always - except for Saturday, get my results right - and even beter than that: they get the results up - ussually same day. And even better than that - if they are wrong or make a mistake, the FIX it. And even beter than that - They manage to time 28 000 riders at the Argus. Come come - be fair.
  20. MW - het vir CycleLAB gevra om te kyk na die kraak.. Hulle wil my fiets hou en dit uitsort.. Hulle dink dis die BB... stange..And I've been there...
  21. you are confusing PPA with Winning time DEE...
  22. a lot of behind the scenes things going on - what you don't know is that PPA booked three races - Amashova, Durbanville and Franchhoek for that weekend. The winningtime team can't be at three places at the same time - how often do they get it wrong - I mean really wrong? Their fault somebody hit the box? En wat ek rook is daar genoeg van.. kan organize as jy wil?
  23. ooohh it's close huh.. Marius - no using you alliases for voting for yourself now!!
  24. I just had the oppertunity to meet the bulk of the Winningtime Team at the Telkom Registration. They were plenty helpfull - gave me directions to Saturdays race, some tips, commited to get my results for Durbanville sorted, etc etc... Thanks Team - for all the GOOD service we receive weekly. Bertus (now go sort out my results please)
