  1. Bok Team for Saturday: 15 Willie le Roux, 14 Sbu Nkosi, 13 Lukhanyo Am, 12 Damian de Allende, 11 Aphiwe Dyantyi, 10 Handre Pollard, 9 Faf de Klerk, 8 Duane Vermeulen, 7 Jean-Luc du Preez, 6 Siya Kolisi (captain), 5 Franco Mostert, 4 RG Snyman, 3 Trevor Nyakane/Wilco Louw, 2 Bongi Mbonambi, 1 Tendai Mtawarira Substitutes: 16 Akker van der Merwe, 17 Steven Kitshoff, 18 Wilco Louw/Thomas du Toit, 19 Pieter-Steph du Toit, 20 Sikhumbuzo Notshe, 21 Ivan van Zyl, 22 Elton Jantjies, 23 Warrick Gelant Personally would have started with Akker but i guess Bongi is a "safer" or "tighter" option. No x-factor in the front means Rassie is going to play the typical Vrystaat game. Bully up front and free up the super fast wingers. Not one fetcher in the team apart from our outside center.
  2. Cider is reserved to the cooking process in my kitchen. But to each their own I guess
  3. Now try making an apple coleslaw and put the coleslaw on the sandwich. Best flavour combo ever.
  4. BMX season in full swing. Amazing to see these 5 and 6 year olds elbow to elbow with both wheels off the ground.

Got my first son’s name refinished and got the second one done.
  6. My little guy moved to a mini at 5 but he is pretty tall. You might be able to get a second hand micro from around R4000. Sometimes one will come up for sale at R3000. The more equipped race bikes with carbon bits will start at around R6000 second hand and can go up to R20000. I think the FreeAgent guys still have new Micros for R5000. There are a few 18 inch micros floating around but they are very scarce and tyres and tubes are very limited in SA. Tubeless is not yet mainstream in BMX. Some pros are testing right now. BMX bikes are pure race bikes so they run very high pressures when racing very much like road bikes. Around 6-9 bar. The tyres are very similar to road tyres in tread pattern. Like I said in a previous post, I have seen roadies use BMX bikes to get their little ones riding in a more “race” position. The cheap mountain bikes have the kids riding very upright and the cranks are stupid short so they tend to spin out very quickly once they have momentum. My son has done the Rietvlei yellow trails with me on his BMX. The bike is quite a few kg’s lighter than the Muna 14 inch we initially got him when he transitioned to pedals.

  8. Just try and find a Micro BMX race bike. My laaitie was riding his from the age of 3 and upgraded to a mini this year. I've seen some guys put road bars on the BMX race bikes.
  9. I’d love to know who flagged his ride.
  10. How lucky is this dude.
  11. I have a Looftlighter. No chemicals near my meat. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=kIjJrI76RVA
  12. Plus 1 3D was a gimmick to sell more TV's. Take the second one.
  13. Newer tech in the monitors basically. But from a quality perspective, the same service. The main advancements in Monitors is the range of colours and or brightness/contrast and not the amount of pixels you can squeeze into a screen(So not UHD). Don't worry about 4k or UHD too much unless the TV you buy is UHD in anyway. Most devices and content suppliers don't support it yet. A good 6 or 7 series samsung screen as large as your budget can buy you is what I would personally go for.
  14. Samsung own Hisense. You will notice that Samsung no longer have series 3 and 4 TV's and that is because Hisense now make the lower series TV's. Samsung TV's now start at series 5
  15. Im still a firm believer in the Strider. Lowest standover and lighter than most. I see the Muna/Papa now costs the same as the Strider so no longer the cheaper option.
  16. So the Strider guys just did something cool:
  17. Nope Sharks are playing full strength.

I'm on my phone so can't see where you are from. Try to get a booking with Thys at Fallen Heroes. IMO the best in the business.
  19. Picked his number today. First race on Sunday and will join his big brother on the big bike soon. And a sneaky photobomb by said big brother.
  20. Learning to Jump. Cant upload all the images in 1 post. To be continued...
