  1. Cool was going to ask the same question. Would Liesbeek be the safer option? Seeing there has been some issues along Main road? Also how good are the street lights, can I get there without a front light?
  2. I'm useless on Instagram, anyone want to join my pro team
  3. Hi all. Need some help. If I buy a racing road license will they move you into the racing batches? #askingforafriend

    The Grind 2025

I did the The Grind (Reverse) last year, great event. Well stocked water tables and tough route. It was self-nagivating route which added some excitement to the race. Also quite scenic as mostly riding through farms and countryside. Keen to enter again next year and see what the "normal" route poses!
  5. This looks awesome! Where about is this place?
  6. Congrats Matt and the team! Many an hour spent on the site, thanks for keeping it updates, interactive and allround lekker! Here's to another 20years and more
  7. All the highveld riders reading this are green with envy!
  8. I concur! Looks amazing
  9. Great news! All the best
  10. On another note, has anyone bought their bibshorts? Prices seem reasonable and would like to know before I spend R1.5k on bibs. Thanks
  11. If you're near Kyalami, go to the Leeuwkop prison. Great riding there and you can get about 60kms odd. The entrance is near the old golf course clubhouse.
  12. Thanks for the heads up guys! It will be on gravel bikes, as we'll be tackling gravel and roads. @mazambaan need to buy an enduro bike (my next n + 1), as the guys from Detour mainly do natural, offroad trails around Afriski. I'll keep you guys posted once completed
  13. Hi Nico Did you do the trip? What was the roads like? Any suggestions or tips? I am looking to do a supported ride through Lesotho, leaving from Fouriesburg, first night will be at Katse Dam, and then second night passed Afriski at Oxbow. So will be 3 days of riding, approx 290kms with 8000m of climbing. Some thoughts and other pointers would be greatly appreciated.
  14. Are there any pics available? Where can we find them? First gravel race as have recently bought a gravel bike. Some proper racing, beautiful part of the far west rand on routes I've never done before. Well organised and attended, thoroughly enjoyable morning out!
