  1. Tuks sports grounds
  2. See you all tonight
  3. So I have read up on brake pads on a few forums and this is what i have found out. Organic - Better breaking, wear out faster, less brake fade as they dont get as hot, wear out extremely fast in wet weather. Sintered - longer lasting, heat up breaking system more due to metal in pads, designed for cold climates. Most guys recommend Organic for the Alps to keep the temp of the brakes down and not to cook your rotors. so im thinking 3 sets Organic, 1 Sintered. Whats your guys experience?
  4. I broke my saint bb so was hoping to find a stronger 1 also wanted the try get the cranks away from the frame a bit but i think ill just stick with the saint thanks
  5. Does anyone know if Saint Cranks will work with a Gravity Mega Exo BB the 4 bearing 1. 68-73bb on my Inspired Fourplay. i think it measures 68mm on the frame. I was using a Saint BB with 2 spacers on the drive side and 1 on the left, fitted with a micron of play, but that BB has passed its expiry date so time for a new 1. So ideally i would like to do away with the spacers, hoping this can be achieved due to the mega exo having wider cups
  6. Now that looks fun
  7. Looks like im going with Juicy 7 levers and J5 Calipers with GR hose conversion. then we all using the same pads, Ill take 4 sets of sintered we can also take 1 of my J5's as a spare brake
  8. So, the brake options are, 1 - Hayes Stroker Trail (currently on my Glory) 2 - Juicy 3's with GoodRidge conversion (will take off my Trail bike) 3 - buy another Elixir 5 (only have 1 on my xc bike) Whats the Vote? Im leaning towards the J3's
  9. I started off with Shitmano without knowing any better but i have now been converted to Avid. i have sets of J3's, 2 x J5's and Elixir 5's Im running an Elixir 5 on my Trials bike with a 160mm rotor and I can do a front wheel move without any slip, power and modulation are perfect. J3's with GR conversion on my Slope Style bike and they are still working perfectly at the bottom of the hill.
  10. If any of you Avid haters have any brakes you wanna dispose of I will happily take them off your hands. I had a 2 sets of Deore's and they where **** in my opinion, lots of lever flex and hardly any breaking power. Put some Juicy 3's on and im loving it, did a Goodridge conversion just to make it super powerfull. Other set i swopped out for J5's. 1 finger with a 160mm rotor and you can do a wicked stoppie
  11. AMPED this is gonna be awesome

I wonder if my wife will let me spend the remainder of our wedding budget on this
  13. where abouts in Emmies?
  14. awesome vid, very well shot and edited
  15. Im thinking the speed i hit it it might be possible, i suck the lip quite a lot, if i had to boost im sure it would be possible. SuperMill Suppose to be 6 weeks which puts me out for the next race but seen as im getting married that sunday it might be a good thing that im off the bike till after the wedding. But i think i might cut the cast off on fri, i can't take it anymore
  16. Thanks guys. The whole right side of my body was pretty still the next day. Patch - the first is way to small for the speed you hit it then the 2nd was fun, popped you a lot higher than expected thou and could have been a tad bit longer but they are a nice addition to the track. The new hip i found was more fun to scrub and berm it. I didn't mean to hit the tree Ya i get a bit too excited into the K@K-n Drop and only just get touch down, im sure its possible to jump the whole thing, pity i cant try now, I think MM should give it a go. It is rather annoying, got a full forearm cast for a little bone in the hand, I never expected casts to be soo uncomfortable and painfull. The finger is kinda feeling ok at the moment. at least it will keep me off the bike and from breaking anything else closer to the big day
  17. The awesome revamped 139 track in PTA and a close encounter with a tree
  18. Those tests are very cool to watch but seriously who is gonna ride their bike into a wall. Where was the rear susp test and pulling the BB away from the fork. Doesn't help if a bike is super strong with the 1 test but then *** in another.
  19. I placed an order 2 weeks ago, Wed at 3pm, it was dispatched the same day and i recieved it the following Wed at 2pm. Under a week, Good going plus i got an extra 1m of Goodridge hose, a bottle and a 10 pound voucher (to be used within 2 weeks which sucks) this was all on free shipping with a 5 pound discount added
