Problem with this is that if you ignore them they will take civil judgement against you and that affects your credit rating. As much as you hate it, I don't think you can ignore it. Perhaps start another thread asking for opinions and advice?

Mouse, keyboard - the remote is a pain to use with text - and yes, probably a HDD. I don't have a router - I use my phone - although I am thinking of going fibre so that would solve that problem.

I have a USB hub but as far as I know, the voltage to each device gets set as the total divided by the number of devices per port. Or something. Perhaps I should just try it. I wouldn't even consider a network . Or are you talking wireless?

Grebel, Just received the delivery but am hugely disappointed. The device is scratched and i clearly not new so it's going back. Yes, that seems to be my experience too. I have a Xiaomi phone and am mightily impressed with it so Xiaomi might have been my call but with only 1 USB port, it's very limited. I get that most operations will be done via the control but I like to have a mouse, keyboard and perhaps a Flash Drive on occasion. Got to think that through. I have no problem installing APKs but I wonder what Google will do about supporting non-certified products. It's revenue for them, after all. One thing I have read is that may of the higher-end devices come with bloatware which uses resources and at times requires rooting to remove. Painful. I also want flexibility so Firestick, Roku are out for me, leaving Xiaomi , MyGica, X96(many versions of that which I find confusing). Can you think of any other options?

That's a bummer.. I was hoping you had some insight of what device to get since you've been streaming for a while. Mind you, tech changes quickly so what was good last year is probably way out of date and low-spec by now. Good thinking on the APKs.

I did a bit of reading on the Google certified issue. It seems most Android boxes for sale are not Google certified. Wonder of that will become a problem with not being able to install from Playstore?

Thanks. I was also looking at the Xiaomi box but read a bad review on it. I guess you will always find bad reviews on all products. Must say I liked their control stick rather than a keyboard. Where did you buy it and for how much? Edit: And how many USB ports does it have? I can't see any.

Has anybody got experience of a X96 Mini android box? I need to replace my rubbish Cloudgate box and was looking at one of these. Opinions, please. Second question: Occasionally my box freezes when watching Netflix and reboots. Anybody else experience this?
