Did my first Argus on my mountainbike and did a 5:00:37.Very happy with that out of SS.I saw a lady on the ground just past Soetwater I think on the downhill that had a m0er of a fall. Hope shes allright as we all came flying downhill with screamimg brakes as we got waved down.

You can get a decent 26er 2013 model new for about R4500 - R5000. I now its more than you got but you wl get much more than you pay for if you only go R3000.

Atroskopie (afrikaans). Had a dr work on my knee before him with no sucsess. My GP advised me not to do K2C but I had the appointment for the Tuesday after K2C. I got given voltarin suppositries as there was no stronger pain killer that I could take orraly. Only tried one and said stuff that. Ill keep my virginaty and trap through the pain.

I had an ACL reconstruction and had problems eversince. My knee seized up K2C but managedto finish.had pain on the exact same place. Went to Ockie van Zyl at Panorama Mediclinic and he sorted it out! The guy is a pro and knows his stuff... no wonder he has CAPE TOWN KNEE UNIT on his letterhead/signage... hes words to me was "As ons klaar is met daai knieg gaan jy n fiets trap laat die snot spat." Ive got snot all over my kit these days....

My first K2C and my first ride further than 50km! Was awesome. My knee packed up after about 60km. Dr told me not to do it as an ACL was causing problems, so tomorow its me and the doc at panorama! I hated the last 20km but I will be back next year. Saw the guy with brocken handle bars. Bike in right hand and half a bar in the left!

My first K2C aswell. I willbe wearing a thin long sleeve top and arm warmers. Rode Java at Robertson and doubt it will be colder than that morning. With an early 14km climb I reckon you'll be dumping clothes not even halfway up. My 2c

My first K2C ever! Entries, acc and shuttle was paid in April already! Can't wait! Hopefully the docter can solce my ACL today. Did 40km on Saturday and my knee is killing me!

Brannas and coke! Cool! Ha ha. No I stay 10kays from Van Loveren I will suck on that at home!

Next year the must have a beer tent. I know Van Lovern was a sponsor and it was at their venue, but without the riders there wont be an event. I asked Bussel (one of the 4 cousins) if he would mind me having a Castle Lite and he had no problem with it. I got a couple out of my bakkie and you wont believe how many people asked where the can buy some. Great route and i will be back next year.
